Let’s see what’s in the April 2016 Kloverbox!
Kloverbox always ships in a small-ish white box via Priority Mail.
A peek inside!
As always, the info card included descriptions, retail prices, and discounts for each item.
Love Reusable Snack Pouches ($11.95) – I’m going to be SO ready for lunch packing when my kiddos start school thanks to all of the reusable snack bags I’ve gotten in subscription boxes. 😉 This set of 2 sandwich/snack bags features a Velcro closure and a food-save PEVA coating. They have a “property of” space to write your child’s name and are top rack dishwasher-safe.
Go Green Miracle Balm ($17.99) – An all natural balm that helps to heal severely dry skin. The gentle formula can be used on hands, feet, legs, arms, face… It even helps control split ends & dry scalp. Ingredients include coconut oil, shea butter, arnica oil, Vitamin E, and natural beeswax.
Kali Organic Tampon Sampler & Wipette ($3) – Kali is a “time of the month” subscription box that offers organic tampons and eco-friendly feminine products. Included were one regular flow tampon, one super, and an organic cotton wipe. There was also a coupon code to save $5 on your first box — “ilovekali“.
Goodnessknows Very Cranberry Snack Squares ($1) – I was so hoping these would be vegan-friendly, but nope. Ah well. They’re crunchy bite-sized snack squares (4 per pack) made with whole nuts, toasted oats, cranberries, and dark chocolate. Sounds good!
Preserve Triple Razor with Replacement Blades ($7.33) – Kloverbox included extra “overstock” items in April’s box to make room for new inventory. The info card states that the item(s) would have a $5+ value, so I’m guessing they varied from subscriber to subscriber. I’m happy with this recycled plastic razor (made from yogurt cups!). It’s definitely something that’ll get used.
Honestly, this wasn’t really my favorite Kloverbox, but it may be due to the fact that I have SO many reusable snack bags already. I also don’t use tampons and can’t eat the non-vegan bar. That said, none of those issues are any fault of Kloverbox. Just not my fave selection of products. Value-wise, the total retail value of everything was just over $41. Still a nice deal for a $25 subscription. 🙂
