Kloverbox time again! I feel like I just reviewed January’s box… Man, 2015 is already flying by, isn’t it? Yeesh. Slow down!
If you’re not aware, Kloverbox is a monthly subscription box that features eco-friendly products ranging anywhere from snacks and personal products to makeup, household goods, and more. The purpose of the box is to introduce you to “cleaner” versions of the products you use on a daily basis. The subscription is $25/month (shipping included) or less with longer commitments. (Keep reading for an exclusive 10% discount code on any length subscription!)
The theme for February is “More To Love”. (I’m really going to miss all of these love/pink themed boxes come March.)
So what’s in February’s Kloverbox, you ask? Let’s see!
First look: As always, I love the handwritten thank you.
The detailed info card lists and describes each product in the box, as well as retail prices and coupon codes.
En Bloom by Fit Lush Lemongrass & Lime Argan Oil Body Scrub ($6.95) – Lemongrass is one of my very favorite scents, so I instantly fell in love with the smell of this scrub. It’s made from all natural ingredients including organic Argan oil, coconut oil, lemongrass, and lime. To prevent the contents from settling, they even included a cute little spoon for stirring.
Renaissance Beauty Orchard Rose Shampoo (~$6.00) – Renaissance Beauty is the Kloverbox featured Etsy shop for February. This shampoo is sulfate-free and infused with Argan oil to nourish the hair and scalp. It’s also gluten-free and safe for color treated hair. I expected it to smell like roses, but it has more of a citrus scent, which is really nice.
Renaissance Beauty Orchid Rose Conditioner (~$8.50) – I love that they also included conditioner to go along with the shampoo. This can be used as a regular conditioner, a hair mask, or a leave-in treatment. It’s made with hazelnut oil and honey for maximum hydration.
Little Barn Apothecary The Simple Face Oil ($20) – I’ve always been a little leery about using oils on my face, but I’m slowing starting to get over it. This face oil is made with all natural ingredients including cold pressed avocado, hemp, and jojoba oils. It’s said to revitalize, refresh, and moisturize your skin deep into the cellular level for an overall smoother complexion.
Verita Skin Acai Rose Argan Lip Balm ($5.99) – This lip balm is made with 100% natural ingredients (of which 99% are organic). It contains Argan oil and can be used on your lips, hands, or and/or cuticles.
Love for Humanity Organics Anti-Aging Eye Serum ($5) – An organic, vegan serum to help diminish dark circles and puffiness under the eyes. The reviews on their site all say how fast they could see results, so I’m curious to see how well it works for me.
That’s It Fruit Bar (~$1.90) – Yay! A snack. This fruit bar contains just that… fruit. Apples and pears, to be exact. Nothing else. My girls are super picky eaters and I think the only fruit they’ll actually eat whole are bananas. I’ll see if they like this and if so, I’m definitely picking up some more.
Another nice selection of goodies from Kloverbox. While I’m happy with a few skincare/beauty products, I’d love to see more “home” items — natural cleaning products, candles, etc. It’s still a great value though. Roughly $55 of products for less than half the price. Seriously a great deal… even better when you use my coupon code! 😉Browse more Eco-Friendly Boxes in my Subscription Box Directory
February 2015 Kloverbox Review
Great box, as always. Still wish there were less skincare/beauty products and more health, nutrition and home products. I do enjoy discovering so many new brands though, and it’s great that a lot of them are vegan-friendly too. Oh, and the value this month is fantastic, as it always is.
