Kloverbox is one of the few boxes I receive whose contents remains a mystery until the day it arrives on my doorstep. I don’t think I’ve ever seen any spoilers or other reviews before I’ve gotten my box, which is definitely a rarity. I feel like I’m often the last reviewer to get certain boxes, so I’m always pumped to open my Kloverbox.
If you’re not hip to them yet, Kloverbox is a monthly subscription box that features eco-friendly products ranging anywhere from snacks and personal products to makeup, household goods, and more. The purpose of the box is to introduce you to “cleaner” versions of the products you use on a daily basis. The subscription is $25/month (shipping included) or less with longer commitments. (Keep reading for an exclusive 10% discount code on any length subscription!)
The theme of January’s box is “Clean & Fresh”. A good choice for the new year!
Alright — let’s see what’s in the box!
First look. They always include a personalized thank you with every box. Such a nice touch!
The info card was a little hard to read this month with the dark background photo, but you can still make it all out. It included descriptions for each product, as well as their retail values.
Angel Face Botanicals Kissed Gentle Sudsing Gel Cleanser ($11.00) – A gentle, vegan face cleanser made with all natural, organic ingredients. Chamomile, calendula and lavender give it a nice, clean scent. The bottle looks tiny in the photo above, but it’s a decent 2.5 ounces.
Meliora K. Better Cleaning Right Hand Laundry Powder ($7.99) – This super eco-friendly laundry detergent only has 3 ingredients: soap, baking soda, and washing soda. It contains zero dyes, fragrances, brighteners, or preservatives. The ultra gentle formula is great for babies and those with sensitive skin. There’s enough powder in this container for 20 loads (or 40 loads in HE washers). I love getting practical (and eco-friendly) products like this in subscription boxes.
Lilies & Myrrh All Purpose Healing Salve ($7.10) – Lilies & Myrrh is this month’s featured etsy store. Their all purpose healing salve is handcrafted with certified organic ingredients including echinacea root, coconut oil, and rosemary leaf. It can be used to heal dry skin, scrapes, bruises, cuts, bug bites, and more.
Palmetto Derma Intensive Hydration & Firming Serum ($38.00) – A super moisturizing serum made with hyaluronic acid and aloe vera for maximum hydration. It promises to refresh the skin, improve its elasticity and leave you with a younger, brighter complexion. The formula is vegan and made with 98% naturally derived ingredients.
While I’m not crazy about receiving so many skincare products this month (just not something I get too excited over), I still appreciate the quality/value of everything that was included. All totaled, the items this month have a retail value of $64.09. Not too shabby!
