Konenkii is a quarterly subscription box designed for modern women who want to “age fearlessly and have some fun along the way”.
Every box will feature an assortment of items to “ease, educate, and empower” — but mostly to enjoy. Items will all be full sized and can include beauty products, books, edibles, accessories, and more.
Subscriptions are $49.99 per quarter, or less with an annual commitment. (You can save $5 on your first box with coupon code “ROSEBUD5“!)
Let’s see what’s in the Winter 2015 Konenkii box!
The box was shipped via priority mail and like last time it was pretty heavy!
A peek inside!
On top was a folded info card with a list of everything in the box, along with descriptions for each one.
I love when items are individually wrapped. So fun! (Okay, this was the only one that was wrapped, but still… fun!)
Paperwhite and Votive Holder – I am SO bad at “plant stuff”, so I’m not 100% sure how to go about growing this, but I like it! The info card says to “simply add water and set in a sunny window”. (Does that mean to just plop the bulb on top of the rocks? How much water do I add? Does the dried ball of whatever it is go in too?) I guess I’ll have to do some Googling. Even if I kill the plant itself (very likely), I can still use the pretty jar as a votive holder. Yay!
White Pashmina – A super soft and light pashmina that’ll fit easily into just about anyone’s wardrobe. I keep telling myself that I’m going to make a point to wear more scarves, but I never do. However, because this is made with silk, I think I’ll pass it along to my mom who LOVES scarves.
Journal and Lighted Tip Pen – Write down your innermost thoughts in this simple, unlined journal. The lighted pen lets you write no matter the situation. Power out? No problem! Do some journaling! 😉
Lake Champlain Chocolates Salted Caramel Bar – This chocolate bar sounds amazing! It’s made with certified organic ingredients — 60% of which are fair trade certified as well. The bar contains 57% cocoa and is filled with sweet, gooey caramel & sprinkled with sea salt. Since it’s not vegan (*sniff*), I’ll be including it with someone’s Christmas gift. (Lucky them!)
White Silicone Watch – I personally wear watches anymore, but if I did, I’d totally rock this one. I love the sleek, simple design. I’m thinking it would likely get pretty dirty due to the color, but since it’s silicone I’m guessing it’s fairly easy to clean.
Erzulie Lip & Cheek Colorstick in “Zoe” – A multi-use colorstick that can be used on both lips and cheeks. The formula is made with all natural and organic ingredients.
Mini Motivational Tattoo Pack – Ha! These are cute. Mini temporary tattoos that feature a bandage design with motivation messages in the middle. The “Be Brave” one would be fun to wear when you go to get your blood drawn or have to get a shot. 😉
Konenkii Apres Ski Recipes – Five recipe cards were included which featured a fondue, hearty chili, a frittata, caesar salad, and brownies.
What a fun Konenkii box! Once again they’ve included a great mix of items to surely brighten anyone’s day — even a gloomy winter one. While aimed at women a bit older, I can see this box being enjoyed by just about anyone. However, if you need a holiday gift for your mom, grandma, etc… This is a great choice!
If you’d like to sign up (for yourself or as a gift), you can save $5 on your first box with coupon code “ROSEBUD5“!
