Let’s see what’s in my February 2021 KONG Box!
Everything was shipped in a solid red box with a white KONG Box logo on the side.
A peek inside!
An insert card welcomed me to the subscription and explained the different rubber options available to ensure that subscribers receive the KONG toys which best suit your particular pup. (I personally don’t have a dog of my own, so I was sent a non-specific box for review.)
KONG Classic Medium ($10.99)
As mentioned above, your very first box will include a FREE bonus KONG Classic toy. Designed for “average chewers”, this classic red KONG has been a staple for dogs around the world for over forty years. It’s made of durable, natural rubber and is uniquely shaped to provide an erratic bounce making it ideal for dogs that like to chew, while also fulfilling their need to play. It also features a hollow inside that can be stuffed with treats like peanut butter, kibble, or KONG-branded goodies.
KONG Marathon Medium Dog Treat ($6.49)
Speaking of treats… This crunchy, chicken-flavored dog treat was designed specifically to fit right inside of a KONG Classic toy. To use, simply push and twist the treat to lock it onto the KONG and let the fun begin! These are made in the USA using natural ingredients including potato flour, pea starch, vegetable glycerin, chicken, gelatin, lecithin, calcium carbonate, and rosemary.
KONG Squeak Air Balls ($9.95)
Perfect for a game of fetch, these bright yellow medium-sized tennis balls are recommended for light/moderate chewers. They’re made with non-abrasive materials that are gentle on teeth and gums. One pack contains three durable yellow balls with built-in squeakers.
KONG Bites – Chicken Recipe ($5.99)
These adorable bite-sized treats are shaped like teeny tiny KONG toys! They’re made in the USA and feature chicken as their first ingredient. They also contain no artificial flavors/colors and are grain-free. Use them for small bite-sized rewards or tuck them into KONG treat dispensers for added fun.
KONG 2021 Calendar ($?)
I’m assuming this is exclusive to KONG box, as I was unable to find it for sale anywhere online. The full-color 16-month calendar (September 2020-December 2021) features photos of various breeds of pups interacting with their favorite KONG toys.
KONG Medium Goodie Bone ($10.99)
As with the KONG Classic, this red bone-shaped toy is made in the USA using durable natural rubber. Each end of the bone features two patented “Goodie Gripper” holes to fill with treats or snacks to extend playtime for your pup.
KONG Stuff’n Sweet Potato Spread ($3.99)
An alternative to solid treats, this spreadable paste is perfect for stuffing into KONG toys/treat dispensers. It’s made in the USA and contains human-grade ingredients including real sweet potatoes, milk, and cheese cultures. The extra-long nozzle makes it easy to dispense and virtually mess-free.
KONG Bandana (Free Bonus!)
As mentioned at the beginning of this post, all new subscribers this month will receive a FREE bonus KONG bandana with their first shipment! The bandana features a solid red background covered in white outlined hearts and mini KONG silhouettes. Too cute!
KONG Box Recipe
The final item was an easy to make recipe for “Apple Cheddar Pupcakes”. The end result can be stuffed into a KONG Classic and frozen for an extra challenging treat.
KONG Box is clearly a great subscription box for dogs! KONG toys have been around — and trusted — for years, so you know you’ll always receive quality items from a well-established company. February’s box contained a nice selection of toys, treats, and more — with an estimated retail value (not including bonus items!) of just under $50! 😀 — Remember, for a limited time you can score a FREE bonus KONG bandana with any new subscription! (No coupon code needed.)
