Lil’ Bear Book Club is a new subscription box that sends 2 to 4 children’s books to your door every month.
There are two different subscription types to choose from: board books (3-4 per box) or picture books (2-4 per box). Whichever plan you choose, each book will be gift wrapped for your child to open. This also makes it great for gift-giving for holidays, birthdays, etc.
A portion of the sale of each Lil’ Bear Book Club subscription is always donated to children in need. For the entire month of March, 100% of the proceeds will be given to St. Jude! Very cool. 🙂
Subscriptions are $16.99/month for board books and $17.99/month for picture books. Discounts are available on multi-month plans. — For a limited time, you can save 10% on your first month with coupon code “MYBEAR“.
Let’s see what’s in my March 2016 Lil’ Bear Book Club box!
Everything was shipped in a plain priority mail box. Inside, another box was wrapped in thick white paper.
The actual Lil’ Bear Book Club box!
A peek inside!
As promised, all of the books were individually wrapped. — I love all the colorful designs. 🙂
I’ll Never Let You Go by Smriti Prasadam-Halls ($7.62) – A sweet board book featuring parent and baby animals who stick together through good times and bad. A nice introduction to unconditional love. 🙂
Where is Baby’s Belly Button? by Karen Katz ($3.56) – We got our first copy of this book when the girls were itty bitty, and all of its flaps got tore out by destructive babies… So it’s nice to get a replacement with flaps in tact. 😉 A fun peek-a-boo type “story” for little ones.
Spot’s First Walk by Eric Hill ($6.82) – Another cute lift-the-flap book featuring the ever-popular Spot the dog. We’ve collected a few Spot books over the last couple years, but this one is new to us. Yay!
Nobunny’s Perfect by Anna Dewdney ($5.97) – This was a totally new to me book that I know my girls will love. Particularly because of the page above that shows a bunny picking his nose. 😉 The beginning of the story shows a group of bunnies being naughty and later explains how important it is to be nice and use your manners. Definitely an important topic for little ones.
I really enjoyed our box from Lil’ Bear Book Club! I love that each book was individually wrapped, making it extra fun for kids to open (or easy to give as gifts!). The selections that were chosen were great for us — a couple familiar titles and two totally undiscovered ones. The total value (using Amazon prices) was just under $24, so definitely fair considering the retail prices were much higher.
Remember — For a limited time, you can save 10% on your first month with coupon code “MYBEAR“!
