May 2016 Loot Crate unboxing time!
If you’re new here, Loot Crate is a monthly subscription box for fans of gamer/geek culture. Every month you’ll get a box packed with 6-8 items that can include toys, gear, figures, art, accessories, and more. They often send special limited edition Loot Crate exclusive items as well.
Subscriptions are $19.37/month (price includes shipping), or less with longer plans. — You can save $3 on your first month with coupon code LOOTR3.
Okay, let’s see what’s inside the May 2016 Loot Crate!
The familiar black
A peek inside.
May’s theme was “Power” and the mini mag/info booklet featured an interview with Warcraft star Robert Kazinsky, a recipe for “Thanos’ Muffins of Death! (by Chocolate)”, a guide to procuring your own superpowers, and more.
Exclusive Warcraft T-Shirt – I have zero knowledge of Warcraft — to the point that I actually confuse it with Minecraft — but I like the simplicity of this tee. It looked a bit longer than most Loot Crate shirts for some reason, but it was also insanely soft.
Exclusive Infinity Gauntlet Oven Mitt – This exclusive Marvel Infinity Gauntlet oven mitt lets you harness the power of the six infinity gems as it protects your hand from nasty kitchen burns.
Hulk Q-Fig – Another Q-Fig! (Looters received a cool Deadpool one in February’s crate.) I keep all of my figures boxed, which makes for less than stellar photos, but the back of the box shows how he looks sans glare. Kinda reminds me of an early Henry Rollins. 😉
Exclusive Dragon Ball Z Shenron Plush Keychain – This plush keychain is Loot Crate’s first ever Dragon Ball Z item. You can’t see it from this angle, but it has a yellow plastic clip attached for hanging wherever you see fit.
Exclusive May 2016 Loot Pin – May’s pin is styled after one of Battleborn’s minions. Subscribers can use the pin in their account to unlock rare loot in Battleborn (available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC).
Remember — If you’d like to sign up for Loot Crate, you can save $3 on any subscription plan with coupon code “LOOTR3“!
