It’s Love With Food time again! This month’s theme is “Winter Wonderland” and features an assortment of “decadent delights”. Most notably, a vegan chocolate bar! Woohoo!
Regular Love With Food boxes are $10/month (plus $2 shipping). They also have a “deluxe” box for $19.95/month (free shipping). With every box purchased, Love With Food donates a meal to a person in need. Everyone wins! 🙂
Okay, onto the “decadent delights”!
Dark Angell Bar from Betty Lou’s – Hell-oooo there, vegan candy bar! Not surprisingly, this was my favorite item in the box. The Love With Food shop actually showed the December box having a different version of this bar, which isn’t vegan. So when I opened my box I was pleasantly surprised to find this vegan one instead. Very pleasantly surprised. Oh, and it’s also organic, non-GMO and gluten-free. Woo!
Les Confitures a l’Ancienne Drinking Chocolate – What’s this? More vegan chocolate? Hells yes! This is a packet of powdered drinking chocolate (or “hot cocoa”, for the less snooty folks) from France. It’s all natural and made with raw cane sugar, bourbon vanilla, and cocoa beans. Mmm.
Lindt Dark Chocolate Square – Swiss dark chocolate made with 70% cocoa. Good stuff.
Madyson’s Marshmallows MaddyMelt – These are designed to sit on top of your hot cocoa in place of whipped cream. It’s a flat, round marshmallow that’s “perfectly sized for your drive-thru cup”.
St. Claire’s Organics Peppermints – Certified organic peppermints. These are all natural, vegan, GMO-free and allergen-free.
Food Should Taste Good Sweet Potato Tortilla Chips – I’ve tried some kind of multigrain chips from this brand before and they were super good. These ones are tortilla chips made with sweet potatoes. Sounds like a weird combo, but I’ll give ’em a go. They’re all natural, vegan and gluten free.
Donsuemor Chocolate Dipped Madeleine – French style cake-like cookie dipped in chocolate and made with all natural ingredients.
Molasses Spice Cookies from Grey Ghost Bakery – This is a 2-pack of natural, made from scratch molasses spice cookies.
Desert Gardens Spinach Dip Mix – Dehydrated spinach & spices that you blend with mayo and sour cream to make an easy spinach dip.
Savory Crisps from 34 Degrees – Thin, baked crisps perfect for dipping.
Love With Food Tote – This was a special “bonus gift” for the holidays. 🙂
There was also a $35 gift card to Hello Fresh that I forgot to photograph.
This was a pretty impressive box, no? And I’m not saying that just because they included vegan chocolate. (Yes I am.)
Right now Love With Food is offering a great deal: With any order, you’ll receive a FREE $15 gift card to Soap.com or Little Black Bag! (No code needed, expires 1/1/14.) You can also use the promo code “FB7OFFER” to get your first box for just $5! Just click here and enter the code at checkout. I’m not sure if the two offers can be combined, but it’s worth a shot!
