Let’s see what’s in the July 2017 Love With Food Tasting Box!
The little red Tasting Box!
A peek inside.
Love With Food used to include a detailed info booklet, but last year they switched to a general card with a link to learn more about that month’s items on their site.
Dick & Jane Educational Snacks
These vanilla flavored “educational” cookies are stamped with US states and their corresponding capitals to help your kiddos learn while they snack. They’re made with whole grains and are nut-free. We’ve gotten these in other snack boxes and my kids are always happy to see them.
Cosmos Creations Salted Caramel Puffed Corn
A puffed corn snack made with non-GMO corn. Since it’s puffed, there are no pesky hulls or kernels to deal with. It’s also trans fat and gluten-free.
Teddy Soft Bakes
An adorable bear-shaped cake snack filled with a smooth chocolate filling. It’s made without any artificial flavors, colors, or high fructose corn syrup. We’ve gotten this in another snack subscription box and my kiddos loved it!
Nothing but the Fruit Real Fruit Bites
Ooh! These all natural fruit bites look like something my kids & I would really enjoy so I was happy to see two pouches included in the box. 🙂 They’re both vegan-friendly, gluten-free, and of course — made with real fruit. (Update — Just ate the raspberry chia ones and they were delicious!)
Ocean’s Halo Coconut Seaweed Strips
Okay, so these on the other hand… I can’t say I’m too stoked on trying coconut seaweed strips. In fact, I don’t think it’s gonna happen. As much as I want to like seaweed, I just… don’t. Even the lure of sweet coconut flakes isn’t gonna sway me, which is a shame since this is such a large bag. Ah well.
Fiordifrutta Organic Fruit Spread
An organic, non-GMO fruit spread made with apricots, apple juice, and pectin. It’s nice to have a few of these sample packets around for those times we run out of jam and just need a pb&j sandwich.
Yum Earth Organic Lollipop
A gluten-free, nut-free organic lollipop that’s both naturally flavored and colored. I received “Strawberry Smash”.
Also included in July’s box was a Rachael Ray recipe booklet filled with 30 recipes that you can make in 30 minutes or less.
Love With Food has kindly given me an exclusive deal to share with my readers: Save $20 on ANY 12-month subscription when you use the code “2LITTLEROSEBUDS” (must be all caps) at checkout! — If you don’t want to commit to a 12 month plan, you can always try your first Gluten-Free box for 50% off, OR get your first Deluxe Box for just $11.95 shipped (no coupon needed!).
