This is my second Love With Food box and the theme this month is “Backyard BBQ”. Thankfully, despite the not-so-vegan theme, there were quite a few vegan-friendly items in the box. Yippee!
Each box is only $10/month (plus $2 shipping). There’s also a code available to get your first box FREE (I’ll share that with you at the end of the review… Be patient!). As always, with each box you purchase, Love With Food donates a meal to a person in need. Gotta love that!
So let’s see what I got this time around…
Good Boy Organics Bops Sea Salt Chips – These organic chips are baked, so they contain 65% less fat than regular chips. They’re also made with non-GMO ingredients and are certified gluten-free. This is about as guilt-less as a potato chip can get!
Aunt Sally’s Original Creamy Praline – These are made fresh in New Orleans. A classic praline full of Louisiana pecans and covered in chocolate fudge.
Rip van Wafels Caramel Filled Amsterdam Wafel – All-natural caramel-filled waffle with no artificial flavors or preservatives. The package recommends placing the waffle on the rim of a mug filled with a hot beverage to allow it to capture the aroma of your coffee/tea and melt the caramel. Thanks for the tip, waffle!
Harvest Snaps Snapea Crisps – I’ve never seen anything like this before. Baked green pea crisps made from 70% whole peas. Lightly salted and 40% less fat than regular potato chips. I’m a little nervous to try them, but I’m not sure why… I mean, they’re just peas, right? Eh. I’ll update this once I’ve worked up the courage…
Project7 Mints – How cute is this?! A little test tube-like vial packed with teeny little mints and sealed with a cork. The mints are sugar-free and for every tray of mints sold, Project7 plants 10 fruit trees. I love their comMINTment to the environment. Ahahaha. Sorry. 😉
Sahale Snacks Crunchers – This is a fruit & almond snack mix with cranberries, sesame seeds, and honey. It’s all natural and gluten-free.
Dizzy Pig Tsunami Spin Seasoning Blend – All natural spice rub for meats, but I’ll go ahead and pretend it’s for tofu. 😉
El Pinto All Natural Salsa – Medium salsa with flame-roasted, hand peeled green chiles. The packaging says that it was “voted #1 world’s best tasting New Mexico salsa”. Cool beans. Er, chiles.
…And so ends the tale of the August Love With Food box. Want in on some of this action too? Click here and use the code “FBGIFT” to get your first box FREE! Just pay $2 for shipping. What a deal! 🙂
Disclosure: I purchased this box on my own. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are 100% my own. Post contains referral links.

I got one this month too. Don’t be afraid of the peas. They were great. They were our favorite thing in the box, and now I am searching my town for somewhere to use the coupon that was in the box.

haha Good to know! 😉

Not sure if you already found them, as I just stumbled upon this review today, but if you have a Whole Foods near you, they have them there. I just bought two bags yesterday!

Thanks for the tip. I looked at several places that it says they have them, but they didn’t actually. I will give Whole Foods a try.

code is working?
dave levin
Should be ” code isn’t working?”
Wendy Rose
Weird. Try FBGIFT2. If that doesn’t work you can still save $5 just by clicking on my link. 🙂
