Let’s see what’s in the December 2018 Love With Food by SnackNationTasting Box!
Everything was shipped in a small red box with the Love With Food logo printed on top.
A peek inside!
There’s usually a generic info card enclosed, but it was missing from the box this month.
Beanitos Nacho Cheese White Bean Chips
These chips are made with real beans, providing a nice amount of fiber in every serving. They also have 5 grams of protein per bag. While this flavor obviously isn’t vegan, I do love the ones that are — especially Hint of Lime. Yum!
Zee Zee’s Strawberry Crisp Soft Baked Bar
This soft baked cereal bar is made with whole grains and oats for a filling on-the-go breakfast or mid-morning snack. It has just 150 calories and 1.5 grams of saturated fat.
Foodstirs Molten Chocolate Chip Minute Mug Cake Mix
I was reeeeally hoping this chocolate mug cake would be vegan, but sadly it’s not. Ah well. However, it is made with organic/non-GMO ingredients and can transform an empty mug into a cake-filled one in just 60 seconds. So there’s that. 😉
Sanissimo Oven Baked Corn Crackers
These crunchy oven baked crackers are made with just 4 simple ingredients: whole corn flour, salt, slaked lime, and tocopherols (antioxidant). They contain zero added sugars and have just 70 calories per pack. They’re also non-GMO, gluten free, and vegan-friendly.
Garden of Life Chocolate Almond Brownie Fit Bar
I’ve received a different, non-vegan type of protein bar from this same brand in a few other subscription boxes recently, so I was pleasantly surprised to see “Vegan” spelled out right on the label of this one. Yay! Not only is it something I can eat — but it’s something I can feel good about eating as it has 14 grams of plant-based protein, 14 grams of prebiotic fiber, and just 1 gram of sugar.
4th & Heart California Garlic Ghee Butter
Grass-fed, lactose-free clarified butter flavored with real garlic sourced from California. It’s non-GMO, gluten free, and paleo friendly.
On the Go Edamame & Goji Berry Fusion Snack
An all natural snack mix containing roasted edamame beans, dried cranberries, seedless raisins, almonds, sunflower seeds, goji berries, and more.
Joyfuls Chocolate Treats
This sounds SO good and is another item I was sad to find wasn’t vegan-friendly. It consists of smooth 60% dark chocolate studded with cranberries, almonds, and pink Himalayan salt. Mmm.
I was kind of hoping for a few holiday-themed snacks in December’s Love With Food by SnackNation Tasting Box, but it’s alright. I was just happy to see a couple vegan-friendly items make their way into the mix. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 40% on your first Deluxe Box – OR – save 25% on your first Gluten Free Box!
