I absolutely loved the June Love With Food Gluten Free box (reviewed here), so I was excited to see what would be included in their regular “Tasting Box” (this one!).
If you’re not aware, Love With Food is one of the most affordable subscriptions out there. — It’s only $9.99/month (shipping included) for their “Tasting” box. (You can actually try your first Tasting box for $5.99 shipped!) They also have a “deluxe” box for $19.95/month (free shipping), as well as a 100% Gluten Free version for $24.99/month. Plus, with every box purchased, Love With Food donates a meal to a person in need.
Let’s see what’s in the June 2015 Love With Food Tasting Box!
Somehow I completely forgot to take a photo of the box itself, but if you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you’re well aware of their signature red box. June’s theme was “Saturday in the Park” and featured plenty of picnic-friendly munchies.
Sheila G’s Salted Caramel Brownie Brittle – I’ve gotten these in a subscription box once before and passed it along to my mom who absolutely loved ’em. They’re thin squares of brownie-like crisps that are supposed to mimic the “edges” of a pan of brownies.
Emily’s Premium Northwest Trail Mix – Healthy mixes like this are perfect for satisfying mid-afternoon snack cravings. This one contains cashews, almonds, raisins, cranberries, and apple pieces.
Funny Face Choo Choo Cherry Cranberries – I’ve had these before and they are hella bitter. I mean, they’re cranberries, so… I think I’ll probably sprinkle these in granola or on a salad this time instead of eating them straight out of the box.
Popchips Crazy Hot Popped Potato Snack – I also received these in this month’s gluten-free box. Two of them actually. I gave them to my dad who later informed me that they’re “hot as hell”. So there ya go. Mild, they are not.
Sheffa Everything Savory Bar – I think this is basically like an everything bagel in bar form. I’m not really a fan of “savory” things, so although this is vegan, I’ll be passing it along.
Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads Naan Crisps – I like naan bread, so I was really hoping these would be vegan-friendly, but no such luck. They’ll make a nice healthy snack for my kiddos though.
Bali’s Best Classic Iced Tea Candy – I think I’ve gotten the espresso version of these in a past Love With Food box. Those ones had dairy in them, but these tea-flavored ones are actually vegan. They contain real tea extract and are said to be a refreshing treat.
Kutoa Cherry Cashew Bar – I ate this bar for breakfast yesterday and it was quite good. It’s packed with healthy ingredients including chia seeds, flax seed, fruit, and nuts.
Coupons – I usually don’t include coupons in my reviews, but this one was for a FREE package of Ruby Rocket’s Veggie & Fruit Pops! Plus another one for BOGO pops. Nice!
Love With Food has kindly given me an exclusive deal to share with my readers: Save $20 on any 12-month subscription when you use the code “2LITTLEROSEBUDS” (must be all caps) at checkout! This includes all 3 box options (Tasting Box, Deluxe, and Gluten-Free). Love With Food recently lowered their prices, so an annual plan is a better deal than ever!
If you don’t want to commit to a 6 or 12 month plan, you can always try your first Gluten-Free box for 50% off, OR get your first Tasting box for just $5.99 shipped, simply click the link – no code needed).
