Love With Food just launched a new “deluxe” box and September (this box!) marked its official debut. Their regular box is $12/month, and this new one is $19.95/month (shipping included for both options). There was supposedly a waitlist to sign up for deluxe one, but I think current subscribers were instantly switched if they decided to go with the new option. You could also keep your “regular” box and get the deluxe as well.
This month’s box was curated by Chef Ming Tsai and featured products that are all gluten-free. (Many of them are also vegan. Woo!) I was excited as soon as I saw the size of the box — the “normal” one is a LOT smaller. My excitement turned to giddiness when I opened it up and saw how full it was. Jackpot!
Oh, did I mention that with every box purchased, Love With Food donates a meal to a child in need? Yep. They do.
Okay, onto the goodies!
Beanfields Bean & Rice Chips – These chips are everywhere lately! (I just got the nacho ones in my Vegan Presence box a few days ago.) I think I’ve tried every flavor they have now. I find that the more I eat ’em, the more I like ’em. The first time I had the nacho flavor, I wasn’t really a fan… But when I had the ones from my Vegan Presence box, I was all “What the heck? Why didn’t I like these before?”. Bottom line: Eat ’em. They’re good.
Yum Earth Organics Fruit Snacks – These cute little fruit snacks are organic, vegan, and gluten-free! I knew this brand made lollipops and gummy bears, but I didn’t know they made these too. Definitely looking forward to trying them.
Bare Fruit Crunchy Cinnamon Apple Chips – I LOVE these! They’re made with 100% natural apple slices that are baked into crispy little chips. That’s the ONLY ingredient — apples. Well, and cinnamon. SO good.
Wild Garden Hummus Dip in Roasted Garlic – Hummus to go! This is a single-serve container of roasted garlic hummus that’s perfect for taking to work/school/wherever.
Cosmos Creations Cinnamon Crunch – I had gotten 2 of these once before in another box and gave them to my parents (since they’re not vegan). Apparently they both shared the first package and then fought over who got to eat the second one. Yep, my parents fought over these things… If that doesn’t tell you how good these are, I don’t know what would. 😉
Licious Organics Honey Cookies in Cherry Berry – These look interesting. They’re “organic unbaked oat cookies sweetened with organic raw honey”. Gluten-free, soy/wheat-free and non-GMO.
Nutty Bean Sesame Crunch Chick Pz – Roasted chickpeas rolled in sesame seeds. I’m not too sure how I feel about these. I’ve had chickpea snacks before and wasn’t a fan. Honestly, chickpeas + sesame seeds doesn’t sound the least bit appealing to me.
Betty Lou’s Blueberry Fruit Bars – I’m pretty sure I’ve had these before and I’m pretty sure they were awesome. Gluten-free, vegan, low fat… And inspired by blueberry pie. How can you go wrong?
Millies Savory Teas in Indian Spice & Spicy Tortilla – I’ve never heard of “savory teas”. Reading through the ingredients, I was surprised to find things like carrots, celery, curry, etc. It claims to be a “savory hot beverage alternative”. I have no idea what these will taste like, but I’m willing to give ’em a go.
So that’s the first Love With Food “Deluxe” box. Impressed? I am! Sure, most of the things were duplicates, but I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing. There’ve been MANY times where I’ve tried something in a food box and immediately wished I had another one. It also lessens the chance of having to fight another family member for the snacks you want. 😉
I can’t find anything about the Deluxe box on their site, so maybe there IS some kind of waitlist(?). However, if you’d like to try the “regular” box out for FREE (just pay $2.00 shipping), just click here and use the code “FBGIFT”! 😀
Disclosure: I paid for this box on my own. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate/referral links.

I may try the deluxe box. I wanted more samples so..

I thought it was great. Though it definitely helped that I really liked most of the things I got AND a lot of ’em were vegan. Definitely sticking with the deluxe box. 🙂

I just found your blog! yippee for me!
I also just got my Deluxe box and boy was I surprised at how big it was. I can’t wait to try everything. I’m wondering how the chickpeas might be on a salad.

Welcome! 😀
Never thought of putting them on a salad… I might have to try that! 🙂
