March 2018 Loved + Blessed unboxing time!
If you haven’t heard, Loved + Blessed is a subscription box that sends a monthly “box of encouragement” for women of faith. Each box will follow a different theme and consist of a mini poster for your home or office, a repositionable reminder sticker, a scripture card, a keepsake theme card, and a special gift of encouragement. Gifts can include jewelry, books, home decor, fashion accessories, and more. With every box sold, Loved + Blessed donates a portion of the proceeds to Union Rescue Mission, an organization that helps the homeless.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $15.99/month (plus $4 shipping), or less with multi-month commitments.
Let’s see what’s in the March 2018 Loved + Blessed box!
As always, everything was shipped in a small hot pink box via First Class Mail.
A peek inside!
An info card revealed March’s theme — “Put on Love” — and listed the full contents of the box.
Keepsake Theme Card
Taped to the inside lid was a keepsake theme card which further explained the meaning of this month’s theme. It was to serve as a reminder of the all-consuming, unconditional love that God always has for you.
Mini Poster
March’s 5 x 7 inch mini poster/print featured the phrase “Do Everything in Love” in bold, colorful text. The back included a small heart with “1 Corinthians 16:14” positioned right above it.
Reminder Sticker & Scripture Card
A removable/repositionable “LOVE” sticker was included to place on a mirror, laptop, tablet, window, or anywhere else where it can be viewed throughout the day. A coordinating scripture card — featuring Colossians 3:14 NLT — could be tucked into a wallet or purse for encouragement on the go.
Heart Ring
Tucked into a small white box was a pretty rose gold colored ring featuring a cut-out heart design. I forgot to snap a photo of the band, but it’s fully adjustable to fit any finger size. (It was actually a perfect fit on my ring finger without any need for adjusting.) I’m usually not into non-silver jewelry, but I really like the simplicity/daintiness of this piece. It’s not exactly the highest quality ring, but it’s cute nonetheless.
Iron-On Heart
To remind you that you’re loved, a pink heart-shaped iron-on with the word “loved” was included for you to apply to a piece of clothing, tote bag, or other fabric surface of your choice.
Heart-Shaped Perfume Bottle
This was sort of an odd inclusion… It’s an empty bottle that you’re supposed to fill with your own perfume in order to “put on love”. I suppose the concept makes sense, but I don’t know how many subscribers would actually take the time to find a perfume to transfer to this bottle for that reason alone.
Encouragement Kit
March’s “Encouragement Kit” consisted of a small coloring booklet with activities, things to color, and words of inspiration throughout. You were to pass this along to someone else who could use a helping hand.
While I definitely enjoyed March’s Loved + Blessed box a lot more than last month’s offering, it still didn’t really “wow” me. The ring — though it was cute — seemed cheap, the empty perfume bottle wasn’t all that useful, and the iron-on was just okay. That said, I did like the fact that there was a variety of items this month as opposed to just one. So that’s something. 😉
