November 2017 Loved + Blessed unboxing time!
If you haven’t heard, Loved + Blessed is a subscription box that sends a monthly “box of encouragement” for women of faith. Each box will follow a different theme and consist of a mini poster for your home or office, a repositionable reminder sticker, a scripture card, a keepsake theme card, and a special gift of encouragement. Gifts can include jewelry, books, home decor, fashion accessories, and more. With every box sold, Loved + Blessed donates a portion of the proceeds to Union Rescue Mission, an organization that helps the homeless.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $15.99/month (plus $4 shipping), or less with multi-month commitments.
Let’s see what’s in the November 2017 Love + Blessed box!
Instead of their usual hot pink Loved + Blessed box, this month’s shipment was sent in a square white box to better fit November’s items.
A peek inside!
An info card revealed November’s theme — “Waiting” — and listed the full contents of the box.
Keepsake Theme Card
Enclosed was a keepsake theme card which suggested that whenever you feel discouraged while waiting for your prayers to be answered, use that time period to strengthen your relationship with God so you’re ready to receive his blessings when the time is right.
November’s 5 x 7 inch mini poster/print featured the phrase “Good things come to those who wait”, surrounded by a colorful collection of feathers in various shapes and sizes. Pretty!
Reminder Sticker & Scripture Card
A removable/repositionable “Wait and see” sticker was included to place on a mirror, laptop, tablet, window, or anywhere else where it can be viewed throughout the day. A coordinating scripture card — featuring Galatians 6:9 — could be tucked into a wallet or purse for encouragement on the go.
In Due Time: Hope & Encouragement in the Waiting by Caroline Harries
The perfect book to go along with this month’s theme!
From the author:
Come join me in this 60-day devotional as I share pieces of my own story, including both loss and longing. Through the truth shared from God’s Word, you will find that it is possible to have joy and declare that God is good, even in the midst of waiting. As you read each devotion, my prayer is that your heart will be healed, your mind renewed and your spirit encouraged to seek, trust and praise the Lord through the storms you are facing today. Although it might be a hard journey now, God is faithful, and he will finish the work that he started in you. If you remain steadfast and don’t give up, in due time you will reap your abundant harvest!
Gold Feather Pen
This plastic gold colored feather pen was included to “symbolize hope and remind you that like a bird that sings in the midst of a storm, you can hold onto hope while you’re waiting”. I gotta say, for a novelty pen it actually writes quite nicely. I was going to give it to my kids, but I think I just may have to keep it for myself now. 😉
Lastly, there was an encouragement kit to pass along to someone else who could use a helping hand. It consisted of another 5″x7″ print, along with a blank note card to personalize for the recipient.
I don’t think anyone really enjoys waiting, so November’s Loved + Blessed theme was sure to resonate with most — if not ALL — subscribers. The book is a useful tool for helping get through those rough times when it’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, while the pen is… well, a fun pen! 😉
