bluum is a monthly subscription box for babies & kiddos from birth through age 5. Every box will contain 5 or more products that are responsibly sourced, eco-friendly and often organic.
There used to be monthly “themes”, but they’ve recently moved away from that and instead curate each box based upon your child’s current age in months.
My girls are currently 19 months old, so the bluum box I received was for 20 months. Let’s see what they sent!
Begin Again Push Along Duck – This cute little guy is shaped from a single piece of Rubber wood (well, except the wheels). The edges are sanded smooth and the body is painted with non-toxic, lead free paint. I love wooden toys and my girls love ducks (and all things yellow), so this is a total win for us. (Amazon Price: $11.99)
Sippi Grips – I seriously laughed when I saw these in my box. I was JUST talking to my husband last night about how we need these (he had no idea they existed). Our girls are constantly throwing their sippy cups on the floor during mealtime and it drives us crazy. This 2-pack(!!!) of Sippi Grips was just what we needed. They have a nice grippy material on the inside that holds your cup/bottle in place and a velcro “leash” that fastens to your kiddo’s highchair/stroller/etc. We used these tonight for the first time and they worked great! No more sippy rinsing/wiping for us! 😀 (Amazon Price: $13.99)
Circle of Friends Raspberry Detangler Spray – This is a nice, full sized bottle of raspberry-scented detangler. My girls and I both have hair that tends to get easily knotted, so this is perfect for us. It’s a pretty large bottle so it should last a long time too. (Amazon Price: $13.19)
Keep Leaf Reusable Cup Sleeve – A cute reusable cup sleeve made with 100% cotton with a felt interior to help keep beverages hot (while not burning yo’ hands). This guy even rolls up to a compact size and can be secured with the attached elastic band thingy. Cool! (Retail Price: $5.00)
Deep Steep Tangerine Melon Hand Scrub – Is it weird that I’ve never heard of a hand scrub? Body scrub, foot scrub, face scrub… Yeah, I know ’bout those. But a hand scrub? Maybe it’s because it’s winter and my hands are forever dry/cracking, but I can’t imagine using a scrub on ’em. I dunno. Perhaps I’ll feel differently in the summer when my skin is less… opposed to scrubbin’. (Amazon Price: $5.35)
This is only my second month of bluum, but I’m already a major fan. I was a little nervous about signing up, as I’ve heard mixed reviews, but so far I’m more than happy with what I’ve received. The total of the items in this box comes to $49.52, which is almost DOUBLE the cost of a monthly subscription!
If you’d like to sign up for bluum, you can save 50% off your first box. Boxes are normally $24.95, but by using the link, your first month will be only $12.47! If you decide you don’t like it, you can cancel anytime. 🙂
