Let’s see what’s in the October 2023 My Paper Box (Grand Subscription) box!
Everything was shipped in a small brown box with a personalized sticker/label on top. — October’s theme was “Witch Squad”!
A peek inside!
The box now comes with an insert with an extra calendar printed on the reverse side — complete with lesser-known daily “holidays”.
An exclusive My Paper Box booklet/”magazine” provided more details about the items inside this month’s box, as well as a calendar, detailed list of bizarre & unique holidays, helpful tips on a variety of subjects, and more.
Desk Calendar
In addition to the calendar printed inside the booklet, the box also included a separate 2-sided card featuring an October 2023 calendar on one side and a list of unique holidays on the other.
Witchy Themed Greeting Cards
Three different “witchy”-themed greeting cards were included — each with their own coordinating envelope.
The first (and largest) card featured the word “Abracadabra” in a fun purple font that was teeming with witchy images. Printed inside were the words “Nope you’re still old”. HA! Love the cheekiness! I’ll definitely be tucking this one away for my (older!) sister’s birthday in February. 😉
A perfect card for the mom-to-be whose getting ready to welcome a spooky season baby! — This one features a steaming caldron full of baby necessities, along with the text “Congrats on the baby brewing”. The inside is blank for writing your own personal message to the expecting mama.
The final card featured a crystal ball with the words “The Future Looks Bright” positioned in the center of it. Like the previous card, the inside was blank for writing your own encouraging words.
Witch Squad Notepad
October’s box included 3 different notepads — all with fun “witch”-themed designs. The first (and longest) of the three measured roughly 8 inches tall by 3.5 inches wide and featured a whimsical “Witch Squad” design with candles, owls, crystals, chalices, and other witchcraft-ing essentials. The pages were lined for all of your spooky list makin’ needs.
The Moon Made Me Do It Notepad
The second — and smallest — of the notepads had my name centered at the top with a “phases of the moon” design right beneath. The bottom left corner featured a drawing of the moon & stars along with the phrase “The Moon Made Me Do It” in purple ink.
Magic Spells & Potions Notepad
The final notepad was my favorite of the bunch and came with its own ~magical~ black & silver cover decked out in witch hats, moons, snakes, skulls, mushrooms, stars, and more. The pad itself was glued to the inside and featured the same design as the cover, but in purple & white. My name was centered at the top in white text over a purple background.
Postcards
October’s box also included 4 oversized witch-themed postcards, each measuring roughly 8 inches tall by 5 inches wide.
The first postcard was adorned with a purple witch beneath the phases of the moon. The second featured a hand holding a purple sphere with a white moon inside, along with the words “Did you get my hex message?” printed at the top.
Postcard number three could be flipped either side up, as its text — “You are full of magic” — was printed right-side-up as well as upside down. The final card featured the same “Witch Squad” design included on one of the notepads.
Enchanted Pen Set
Ooh! — I love these pens! (No doubt I’ll have to fight my kids for them. 😉 ) Three different ~enchanted~ pens were included — purple “Spooky Night”, orange “Be Scary”, and black “Trick or Treat”. Each one was filled with tiny colored crystals and included both a traditional ink tip as well as a stylus.
Halloween Confetti
The final item was festive halloween confetti divided into two little tubes labeled “Cures” and “Potions”. The metallic confetti consisted of colorful pumpkins, witches, spiders, ghosts, and more. Also included was a bonus sticker that read “It’s Hocus Pocus Time”!
October’s My Paper Box included a fun collection of witchy stationery and other goodies to welcome in the spooky season. My personal favorites this time were the greeting cards, notepads (especially that one with the fancy cover!), and enchanted pen set. 🙂 — Sadly, this is the final subscription offering from My Paper Box as the founder has decided to focus on just selling her stand-alone (non-subscription) stationery products which can be found here. The box will be missed!
