Let’s see what’s in the June 2018 My Zodiac Box!
Everything was shipped in a white box with a My Zodiac Box logo sticker on top.
A peek inside!
An insert card opened up to reveal all of the contents of June’s box.
The reverse side of the card included my horoscope for June, as read by Ancasta Day.
June’s box was themed around the moon, so they included a guide to moon signs with information on how to find yours (if you don’t already know it), along with how your sign affects your personality.
While I don’t exactly need any more mugs, I’m always happy to welcome a new one into my ever-expanding collection. This solid white mug is printed with a black “Leo” design and holds 11 ounces of your favorite beverage.
June’s jewelry differed depending on what metal preference you indicated in your profile upon signing up. I received a silver “double horn” (inverted crescent moon) necklace from Canvas Style. The pendant is strung on a delicate 16-inch chain with an adjustable closure that lends itself to layering options.
How neat is this handmade garland/wall art by Sage & Stone Company?! Each piece represents a different phase of the moon — all of which are strung together on a brown cord complete with metal hoops at each end for hanging. The full moon measures approximately 1.5 inches, with the entire piece being roughly 16 inches long.
Another super neat item! I don’t know what it is about little glass bottles, but I love ’em. This one is printed with a silk-screened moon design and filled with 40 black 2-inch matchsticks. It even has its own striker strip located on the back of the bottle. Too cool!
This 5″ x 7″ print features the full lunar calendar for all of 2018 printed in black ink on a white background. Below the calendar is a quote from J.R.R. Tolkien — “Moonlight drowns out all but the brightest light”.
Tucked into a pretty celestial pouch was a piece of white moonstone. According to the little card enclosed, moonstone is a stone of intuition and insight. It helps to balance emotions, protects those who travel on/by water, encourages introspection, offers increased patience, and more.
Healing Stone Set
A second, larger pouch held a healing stone set for each of the moon’s phases. The 4 stones that were included are as follows: Clear quartz (for the new moon), Sodalite (for the waxing moon), Tiger’s Eye (for the full moon), and Blue Apatite (for the waning moon). You can easily check to see which phase the moon is in on any given day using your new lunar calendar art print above. 🙂
Although they’ve been struggling with serious shipping issues (this might actually be May’s box), I’m nonetheless impressed with My Zodiac Box. I like how they include such a wide range of products, making it feel more like a lifestyle box than other subscription boxes in the same genre. My favorite items this month were the Leo mug, moon phase wall art, and neat little bottle of matches. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 10% on your first box with coupon code “MOMSDAY“!
