Time for another Nadine West review! — Let’s see what’s in my April 2023 package!
Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home. Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $9.78 shipping charge. If you choose to keep any of your items, that charge is credited to your purchase (making shipping free!). — For a limited time, you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) and save $25 when you keep every item in your package with coupon code “NWROSE25“!
Everything was shipped in a bright pink poly mailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into two separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices. Since my package was sent for review, the actual prices weren’t listed — however most pieces sell for between $10-$30 each.
I received 2 tops, 2 bottoms (pants/leggings), 1 dress, and 1 necklace.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did this time!
Shiela Rose Banded Top in Black
I’m always happy to add more solid black pieces to my wardrobe. (Which is what about 90% of my closet consists of at the moment. 😉 ) This cute tee features short sleeves with a fit that’s loose/relaxed on top and gradually gets more fitted towards the bottom, where it ends with a snug band that hugs the hips. I probably wouldn’t have selected a style like this on my own, but I was happily surprised by how cute it looked once I tried it on. Yay!
Shiela Rose Ferne Top in Heather Gray
I’m always a little leery about wrap shirts/dresses… They just don’t look like they’d be very, um, secure? However, as loose(?) as the “wrap” part looked on the hanger, it actually stayed in place perfectly once I had it on. The v-neck also didn’t look as deep as I feared. I really like the heather gray shade too!
Fina Sleeveless Tiered Midi Dress in Light Rose
I think this is the first midi (or maxi) dress I’ve ever gotten from Nadine West and I was pleasantly surprised to see it. I wear a TON of maxi dresses in the summer, so I hope there’s more to come! 🙂 Although it’s listed as a “midi” dress, I found that this fits much more like a maxi on my 5’7″ frame. It’s super comfy and while I would prefer a darker color, I do love the cute and casual style.
Shiela Rose Mackenzie Pants in Dusty Olive
Despite looking rather gray in the photos above, these pants are in fact a greener “dusty olive” shade (see leading photo at the very top). They’re definitely more of a business casual type pant, which just isn’t a style I have a use (or preference) for. This was one of the rare occasions that I didn’t bother to try them on because they were an immediate “nope” upon pulling them out of the bag. 😉 Can’t win ’em all!
Asana Legging in Seal Brown
I really liked the “no frills” simplicity of these brown leggings. No zippers, no cut-out details, nothing unnecessary. Just a pair of comfy, versatile leggings for everyday wear. Thumbs up.
Anne Necklace in Silver
This month’s jewelry item was a short silver necklace featuring a small open ring pendant on one end with a small silver ball on the other. The ball end can be inserted into the ring and pulled through to your desired length.
Once I decide which items to keep, I can simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
My April 2023 Nadine West shipment included a nice assortment of Spring/Summer-friendly pieces. My favorites this time were the Shiela Rose Banded Top, Shiela Rose Ferne Top, Fina Sleeveless Tiered Midi Dress, and Anne Neckace. — Remember, for a limited time you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) and save $25 when you keep every item in your package with coupon code “NWROSE25“!
