Time for another Nadine West review! — Let’s see what’s in my August 2022 package!
Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home. Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $9.78 shipping charge. If you choose to keep any of your items, that charge is credited to your purchase (making shipping free!). — For a limited time, you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) with coupon code “NADINE” or save $25 when you keep every item in your package and get FREE shipping with coupon code “ROSEBUDS25“!
Everything was shipped in a bright pink poly mailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into two separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices. Since my package was sent for review, the actual prices weren’t listed — however most pieces sell for between $10-$30 each.
I received 2 tops, 2 bottom (pants/leggings), 1 dress, and 1 necklace.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did this time!
Shiela Rose Iris Top in Black & White Stripe
I’m all about black & white (or neutral) colors, so I was happy to see this cute b&w striped top/cardigan in August’s shipment. It has everything I look for in a cardigan: good (non-cropped) length, comfortable material, minimal “extra” details (cut-outs, embellishments, etc), full-length sleeves, and an open (no buttons/zipper) design. And yes, it also has *pockets*! 😀
Lucia Tunic Top in Yellow
I definitely prefer a “less is more”/minimal look when it comes to clothing, and the tunic above has just the right amount of “detail” to still make it into my wardrobe. 😉 I appreciate that it’s a solid-colored tee/tunic (with no cut-outs!) and just has a cute tied/twisted edge to give it a little extra flair. — Plus, the color pairs nicely with the striped cardigan above!
Camilla Dress in Black
Don’t let the photos fool you, the top part of this dress does NOT have a weird swirly pattern. — It’s simply a plain see-through mesh that photographs a little oddly. 😉 Since it didn’t look quite a-line, I was a bit worried that it was going to fit either too snuggly, or a bit boxy… To my surprise, it fit perfectly! Yay!
Thelma Jeggings in Black
Yet another simple, embellishment-free item of clothing. — Nadine West is killin’ it this month! These solid black jeggings couldn’t be more perfect: No bright colored stitching, no embroidery, no bedazzled designs… Just classic black jeggings with minimal silver snap details. LOVE them!
Stephanie Joggers in Heather Gray
I can never have too many comfy “lounge” pants. Yes, I know that many people wear joggers/sweats outside of the house, but I just can’t get into that. Thankfully, I spend most of my time at home so I can wear joggers and be as comfy/cozy/lazy as I want without anyone seeing. 😉
Sheila Necklace in Rhodium
This month’s jewelry item was a longer length silver/rhodium necklace featuring a large tear-drop shaped stamped metal pendant with an attached metal tassel “charm”. Not quite my style, but not awful.
Once I decide which items to keep, I can simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
My August 2022 Nadine West shipment was hands-down the most “me” to date. So much black, so little embellishments. 😉 My favorites were the Sheila Rose Striped Cardigan, Camilla Dress, Thelma Jeggings, and Stephanie Joggers. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time, you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) with coupon code “NADINE” or save $25 when you keep every item in your package and get FREE shipping with coupon code “ROSEBUDS25“!
