Time to improve your golf game with Mullybox! — Read on for my August 2022 “Premium Box” review. (Note: I’m not a golfer myself, so please forgive my ignorance when it comes to detailing some of the items. 😉 )
Mullybox is a golf subscription box that delivers carefully selected gear to help you to look, feel, and play better.
Each box will include a new collection of golf essentials to have you playing at your very best. Items can include apparel (shirts, gloves, socks), balls, training aids, hats, club covers, tees, cleaning kits, and more. Mullybox strives to help their subscribers play better by providing value beyond the items that you get in every box. The experience that goes with it will include elements of coaching, instruction, and personality.
Disclosure: Box was received for review. Post may contain affiliate links.

Everything was shipped in a black box with the Mullybox logo on top.
A peek inside! — I received the “Premium” version of the box ($99.99/quarter).
Watson Golf Structure Ball
The Structure Ball is a “premium ergonomic swing aid that gives you constant feedback on proper setup, alignment, pivot, and arm structure creating instant change in your body mechanics”. It forces you to build procedural memory that produces an effective repeatable swing and is highly effective for all skill levels. A helpful info card was included to show you exactly how the aid is to be used. The “ball” features an ergonomically designed arm channel that tapers from top to bottom for a perfect fit, a target line indicator to make sure your shoulders and body are aligned correctly to intended target, a vertical arrow indicator to ensure you have the proper tilt at set up, as well as a safety strap to make sure the ball stays connected to your body.
Keep the sun out of your eyes in style with this solid white unisex golf hat from Swyng. It’s made of breathable 100% cotton and features an adjustable buckle style strap to ensure a perfect fit. A black embroidered “Swyng” logo on the front completes the look.
Oncore ELIXR Golf Balls
I just noticed that these golf balls were “born” in my hometown of Buffalo, NY. Very cool! 🙂 A two-time Golf Digest Hot List Gold Winner, the ELIXR tour ball is expertly crafted for all golfers – from amateur to elite. According to the product description, “its unique polybutadiene core delivers exceptional coefficient of restitution (CoR) for maximum velocity and distance, while the proprietary polymer mantle is infused with high density particles for enhanced perimeter weighting, delivering exceptional accuracy and control. A premium cast urethane cover delivers a soft, pure feel off the club face and gives the ELIXR great greenside control, durability and first class performance”. Well, I’m impressed. 😉
Box of Wooden Tees
I’m assuming these are your standard sized wooden golf tees. They’re painted with a white, yellow, and brown color scheme and feature a black Mullybox logo at the top (forgive me if there’s a better word for that). The little box contained a total of 7 tees.
Golf Club Cleaning Brush
Keep your clubs (and shoes!) clean with some help from this handy Mullybox cleaning brush. It features a dual-sided head with sturdy wire bristles on one side, and softer plastic(?) bristles on the other. There’s also a sharp pick for removing stubborn dirt & grime from grooves. A retractable 2-foot zip line carabiner allows it to be attached to your bag for quick and easy access.
IZZO Golf Smooth Swing Training Aid
The IZZO Golf Smooth Swing Trainer is designed to promote a smoother, one-piece takeaway, keeping your arms and body in sync throughout the entire golf swing. It also helps prevent a common swing fault – a “flying” back elbow that gets away from the body on the downswing, leading to an incorrect swing plane and poor ball striking. Its durable elastic material makes it flexible and comfortable while you’re practicing. It’s the perfect training aid for students learning the game, giving them the fundamentals of a good solid swing intuitively and immediately.
Swyng Pro Dry Golf Socks
Socks! — I know what these are for! 😉 Mullybox included not one, but two pairs of Pro Dry ankle socks from Swyng. These breathable moisture-wicking socks feature a blister tab to protect skin against abrasion, comfortable arch support, and a stay up cuff for a secure fit. They’re made of 93% Repreve polyester, 4% normal polyester, and 3% spandex.
“Putt Precision” consists of 3 pieces — a golf ball alignment tool, ball marker, and black pen. To use, align your ball — aiming purple (I think they meant green?) line at the hole. Then estimate the degree of slope (left to right or right to left). Based on your read, match the line on your ball to a line on the marker. Finally, pick up the marker, match the line on your putter to the line on your ball and stroke your putt to the correct speed.
SmartLine Putting Elevated Putting String
A great practice tool used by many PGA Pros, the SmartLine Putting string was developed by a PGA teaching professional to help you with your alignment, putting stroke, green reading, and visualization. It consists of a 12-foot string made of stretchable elastic, two 9 1/2 inch long sturdy metal rods, and a zippered pouch for easy storage. The putting string can be used to confirm the putter face is square at address, to help with the path of the putter, to see if the ball starts on the correct line during the putt and other helpful uses for your putting. It can be used for both straight and breaking putts. For breaking putts, set the string where you want the ball to start and the string helps to visualize the putt. For both straight and breaking putts the string helps you see if you are able to start the ball on your correct start line under the string.
The final item was a cute metal ball marker in the shape of a… little blue guy(?) in golf attire. I’m honestly not too sure what he’s supposed to be, but he does appear to have nipples so there’s that. 😉
Although I’m not personally a golfer, I can absolutely see the value in a subscription to Mullybox! All of the products I received were great quality and looked to be helpful/practical items that any golfer would happily utilize to improve their game. I didn’t find prices for all of the items, but the Watson Golf Structure Ball alone retails for $69.99! Needless to say, you get plenty of bang for your buck with Mullybox. 😀 — Remember, for a limited time, you can save 25% on your first box AND get 3 free gifts when you use coupon code “LD25” at checkout!
