Time for another Nadine West review! — Let’s see what’s in my February 2023 package!
Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home. Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $9.78 shipping charge. If you choose to keep any of your items, that charge is credited to your purchase (making shipping free!). — For a limited time, you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) and save $25 when you keep every item in your package with coupon code “NWROSE25“!
Everything was shipped in a bright pink poly mailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into two separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices. Since my package was sent for review, the actual prices weren’t listed — however most pieces sell for between $10-$30 each.
I received 2 tops, 2 bottoms (pants/leggings), 1 dress, and 1 necklace.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did this time!
Brush Your Shoulder Off Top in Hunter Green
I LOVE this shirt! — You can’t really tell from the photos, but it is soooo soft and comfy. It’s the perfect shirt to just throw on with my favorite pair of jeans (or leggings if I’m staying home) for a simple casual look. The fit is perfect and I love the length — it ends right at my hips. I’m not sure that I would have chosen a gray/green color scheme myself, but I really don’t mind it.
Shiela Rose Relaxed Button Top in Spice
I really like the color and lightweight cardigan-y material of this top, but it lost me at the short hi-low knot style at the bottom. My personal preference aside, it would make a nice versatile piece that could be worn as is or unbuttoned and layered on top of a second shirt/tee/tank.
Candice Skate Dress in Dark Sage
I love “clean” looks with no extra cut-outs or other added details, so this dress was perfect for me. The simpler, the better! 😉 I’m still undecided on exactly what color this is… The packing slip says dark sage, but it looks sort of gray to me. Either way, I love that it has long sleeves, pockets, and no unnecessary embellishments. 🙂
Myrna Bottoms in Black
At first look I assumed that these were jeggings, but they’re actually just basic slim-fit pants. They have a subtle vertical “striped” design, which is a lot more noticeable in my photos than when actually worn on the body. I appreciate the fact that these have functional back pockets and the fit is great.
Kasey Leggings in Black
Despite the packing slip referring to this pair as “leggings”, I’m definitely going with jeggings on this one. 😉 Although, I suppose the material isn’t anywhere as thick as denim. — Whatever they are, I like ’em! They’ve got plenty of stretch and fit like a glove. Plus, like the first pair they also have functional back pockets. Yay!
Arielle Necklace in Silver
This month’s jewelry item was a mid-length layered necklace featuring two silver chains — the shortest adorned with a silver “bar” pendant and longest with a tear-drop shaped turquoise stone. I’m really liking the layered look and this particular piece feels a lot nicer (heavier) than past necklaces.
Once I decide which items to keep, I can simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
My February 2023 Nadine West shipment included a nice selection of weather-appropriate pieces. My favorites this time were the Brush Your Shoulder Off Top, Candice Skater Dress, Kasey Leggings, and Arielle Necklace. — Remember, for a limited time you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) and save $25 when you keep every item in your package with coupon code “NWROSE25“!
