Time for another Nadine West review! — Let’s see what’s in my February 2024 package!
Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home. Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $9.78 shipping charge. If you choose to keep any of your items, that charge is credited to your purchase (making shipping free!). — For a limited time, you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) and save $25 when you keep every item in your package with coupon code “NWROSE25“!
Everything was shipped in a bright pink poly mailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into two separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices. Since my package was sent for review, the actual prices weren’t listed — however most pieces sell for between $10-$30 each.
I received 2 tops, 2 bottoms (pants), 1 dress, and 1 necklace.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did this time!
Oriana Top in Black & Gray Stripe
First up was this black, white, and gray striped top. It’s constructed of a very thin, lightweight material that would likely require some type of camisole or tank top underneath. It also features a loose turtleneck collar and tapered bands around the sleeves & bottom hem. The length is more tunic-y than a standard shirt and it has a nice relaxed fit.
Betty Jacket in Off White
I believe this is the second month in a row that I’ve received a jacket in my shipment, which is a nice addition for the cooler months. While I was the fan of the overall look when I pulled this out of the package, I gotta say I was kinda bummed to see that it was cropped. (Am I the only one desperately waiting for that trend to be over?!) Length aside, I did like just about everything else about this jacket… The sturdy fabric, off-white color, cute contrasting buttons, and large/functional pockets. It just needed a few extra inches at the bottom. 😉
Lyra Dress in Black & White
Oooh! A maxi dress! — I’ve never gotten a maxi/midi dress from Nadine West, so this was a nice surprise. 🙂 Although the style is a little more formal than I’m used to, I actually really liked it once I tried it on. It’s a nice length — sort of in between midi and maxi — and has a slight “hi-low” cut. The quarter-length sleeves make it ideal for those early Spring warm, but not too warm days and the included belt helps to give it a more “complete” look.
Pelia Skinny Jeggings in Black
I pretty much live in black leggings and jeggings in the colder months, so these were a welcome sight. 🙂 Not only are they black and a perfect fit, but they even have functional (not just decorative) pockets! A+!
Adelaide Pants in Black & White
Not gonna lie, these pants immediately brought me back to my old ska punk days. Although back then I was too poor to buy “real” ska/punk pants at Hot Topic, so I had to settle for plaid pajama pants. Good times… Anywhooo… These pants aren’t exactly something I’d choose to wear nowadays, but I don’t hate ’em. They have a nice slimming fit and an adjustable drawstring waist to comfortably tighten to your liking.
Marilyn Necklace in Silver
This month’s jewelry item was a short silver necklace featuring three layered chains. Each chain held an open silver ring — with the smallest ring attached to the shortest chain and the largest attached to the longest. — A nice versatile piece that can be easily paired with just about any outfit. 🙂
Once I decide which items to keep, I can simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
My February 2024 Nadine West shipment included a nice collection of pieces — all in my most go-to neutral colors. 😀 My favorites this time were the Pelia Skinny Jeggings, Lyra Dress, and Marilyn necklace. — Remember, for a limited time you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) and save $25 when you keep every item in your package with coupon code “NWROSE25“!
