Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home.
Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $9.78 shipping charge. If you choose to keep any of your items, that charge is credited to your purchase (making shipping free!). — For a limited time, you can save $25 when you keep every item in your package and get FREE shipping with coupon code “ROSEBUDS25“!
Let’s see what’s in my July 2021 Nadine West package!
Everything was shipped in a bright pink poly mailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into a single bundle and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices. Since my package was sent for review, the actual prices weren’t listed — however most pieces sell for between $10-$30 each.
I received 3 tops, 2 bottoms (pants/leggings), and 1 necklace.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did this time!
Prosper Top in Black
This solid black top is a step up from a plain ol’ “basic tee” with its unique cut-out design at/below the collar. The length hits right below my waist and would work well with jeans with no need for tucking.
Yvonne Leggings in Charcoal
If you’ve even a few too many sweets (or food in general) over lockdown, this pair of stretchy capri-length leggings has got you covered. They feature “ultimate tummy control” with a layered waistband for shaping & support and four-way stretch fabric for a comfortable fit. Each side/leg also has a functional pocket and fun criss-cross design at the bottom.
Casey Top in Charcoal
A heather gray (charcoal) ringer-style tee contrasted with light pink accents on both the collar and sleeves. The material is incredible soft and lightweight — perfect for warm summer days. The bottom left features a knot/twist detail to give it a little more style.
Summer Lounge Denim Mini Shorts in Black
When I first saw these short shorts, my first thought was “NOPE!”… However, once I tried them on I realized that they’d be great to wear for sleep. While they look a little thick/stiff, they’re actually super lightweight and comfy. They have a cute dolphin style hem on the sides and make ideal lounge/sleep (read: indoor!) shorts for those of us way past booty shorts age. 😉
Aurora Plus Top in Dark Olive
Don’t be fooled by the word “plus” in the name… This tank is VERY snug-fitting and looks more like a small (x-small?) than my usual medium. It’s deep olive in color and features open criss-cross neckline details. In all honesty, I didn’t even attempt to try this on as it already looked way too tight for my liking and I’m 99% sure I would have somehow tangled myself up in the strap situation.
Chanaia Necklace in Silver
I tend to receive longer length necklaces in my shipments, so I was surprised to find a shorter one this month. It was also the first pendant-less one that I’ve ever gotten. The piece is comprised of three chains which are all held together by equally spaced out silver beads. Cute!
Once I decide which items to keep, I can simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
My July Nadine West shipment was a little less “me” than previous collections, but I still found a couple of pieces that I liked. (I think this was the first time I didn’t receive a dress. 🙁 ) My personal favorites were the Prosper Top, Yvonne Leggings, Summer Lounge Shorts, and Chanaia Necklace. As always, the items that I didn’t care for could be sent right back with no cost to me. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save $25 when you keep every item in your package and get FREE shipping with coupon code “ROSEBUDS25“!
