Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home.
Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $9.78 shipping charge. If you choose to keep any of your items, that charge is credited to your purchase (making shipping free!). — For a limited time, you can save $25 when you keep every item in your package and get FREE shipping with coupon code “ROSEBUDS25“!
Let’s see what’s in my May 2021 Nadine West package!
Everything was shipped in a bright pink poly mailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into two separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices. Since my package was sent for review, the actual prices weren’t listed — however most pieces sell for between $10-$30 each.
I received 2 tops, 2 bottoms (pants/leggings), 1 dress, and 1 necklace.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did this time!
Allina Top in Black
First up is a light, loose-fitting top that’s perfect for the coming summer months. The sleeveless piece features thin spaghetti straps and a fun scalloped design along the sides/arm holes(?) — there has to be a better term for that, but I’m coming up blank. 😉 Anywhooo… It’s made of a wrinkle-free, gauzy material that flows nicely and can easily be dressed up or down.
Abbey Jeggings in Black
While I can’t say that I’m fan of the criss-cross/button combo on these jeggings, I have to admit that they do fit quite nicely so I’ll let it slide. Also, it’s easy enough to fully cover it up with a long enough top/tunic. 😉 Oh! And they have functional pockets, which is always a plus when it comes to jeggings (or any article of clothing really).
Devona Dress in Salmon
Oh, Devona… I’m not sure if it’s the color or the frilly bottom, but this dress is just not for me. — However! I did try it on despite my initial aversion and realized that it would make a great nightie. The fabric is super soft, light, and great for warm summer nights. 🙂
Linnet Top in Heather Gray
It’s always nice to receive some versatile “basics” like the ribbed racerback tank top above. While I rarely wear these alone, they’re great for layering or wearing to bed with undies or a pair of pj shorts. The material has a good stretch and snug, but comfortable fit.
Helene Pants in Mauve
Okay, in all honesty I would never wear pants like these outside of the house. I’m a diehard leggings girl and anything this loose-fitting just doesn’t work. BUT! After trying these on, I absolutely fell in love with how comfy and light they felt on my skin. — I instantly knew that these would be my new favorite post-shower, pre-bedtime cozy pants! I now want multiple pairs. 😉
Lariat Tassel Necklace
Last month I received a single tasseled necklace… This month I got double tassels! Which would be great if I were a tassel fan. 😉
My May Nadine West shipment almost felt more like a sleepwear/loungewear subscription and I was 100% cool with that. 🙂 I absolutely love my new cozy striped pants and am happy to have more sleepwear in the form of the Devona dress & Linnet racerback tank top. As always, the items that I didn’t care for could be sent right back with no cost to me. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save $25 when you keep every item in your package and get FREE shipping with coupon code “ROSEBUDS25“!
