Time for another Nadine West review! — Let’s see what’s in my November 2022 package!
Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home. Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $9.78 shipping charge. If you choose to keep any of your items, that charge is credited to your purchase (making shipping free!). — For a limited time, you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) and save $25 when you keep every item in your package with coupon code “NWROSE25“!
Everything was shipped in a bright pink poly mailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into two separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices. Since my package was sent for review, the actual prices weren’t listed — however most pieces sell for between $10-$30 each.
I received 2 tops, 1 bottom (pants/leggings), 1 dresses, and 1 necklace.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did this time!
Prairie Cardigan in Black
Thanks to Nadine West, I’ve amassed a nice little collection of black cardigans — which I wear a LOT. 🙂 The piece above is solid black with a sweater-like weave/pattern which you can see clearer in the second photo. It’s lightweight enough to wear year-round and pairs great with both leggings & jeans/jeggings. I’m a fan!
Shelly Top in Light Green (Blue?)
This top is listed as being light green, but I’m not totally convinced. 😉 It looks a little more blue to me, so I’m gonna go with teal or light turquoise. The short-sleeved tee features a wide crew neck collar, a decorative row of opalescent buttons along the center, and a curved hem at the bottom. It’s not quite my style, but would definitely be easy to pair with jeans and a cardigan for a quick casual look.
Claire Bottom in Black & White Stripe
I should probably make a note in my profile not to include “dressy” pants since I have zero need/reason to wear them. That said, these are a nice choice for those who do need to look presentable for work. 😉 The vertical stripes give a subtle slimming effect, while the cinched/belted waist adds a touch of flair. The legs are tapered at the bottom for a modern fit and yes, they even have functioning side pockets.
Black Jogger Pants
My packing slip listed a black & brown dress, but instead I received two additional pairs of pants. No biggie. The first pair were solid black joggers with tapered legs, side pockets, and an adjustable drawstring waist. I’m all about being cozy and these pants most definitely fit the bill.
Black Jeggings
In place of the dress, I also received a pair of solid black jeggings shown above. Despite how skinny they look on the hanger, they (thankfully) have plenty of stretch to them and fit like a glove. I love how they don’t have any weird contrasting stitching (or other unnecessary details) — less is definitely more to me when it comes to clothing embellishments. 🙂
Lavinia Necklace in Silver
This month’s jewelry item was a mid-length silver necklace featuring a simple open circle pendant charm. As with clothing, I also appreciate jewelry with minimum embellishments. 😉
Once I decide which items to keep, I can simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
My November 2022 Nadine West shipment again included an even amount of hits and misses. My favorites this time were the Prairie Cardigan (LOVE!), Black Joggers, and Black Jeggings. — Remember, for a limited time you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) and save $25 when you keep every item in your package with coupon code “NWROSE25“!
