Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home.
Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.

Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $9.78 shipping charge. If you choose to keep any of your items, that charge is credited to your purchase (making shipping free!). — For a limited time, you can save $25 when you keep every item in your package with coupon code “ROSEBUDS25“! — OR — Waive the shipping fee on your first package with coupon code “NADINE“!
Let’s see what’s in my October 2020 Nadine West package!
Everything was shipped in a bright pink polymailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into three separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices. Since my package was sent for review, the actual prices weren’t listed — however most pieces sell for between $10-$30 each.
I received 2 tops, 2 bottoms (pants/leggings), 1 dress, and a necklace.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did!
Kanny in Black
It’s a bit hard to tell in the photos above, but the stitching on these jeans (jeggings?) is — gulp! –metallic gold. As someone who detests gold, I almost wrote these off immediately due to the stitching color alone. (Yep, I’m THAT picky. 😉 ) Thankfully, I decided to put on my big girl pants (quite literally) and ended up falling in like with these. (Just “like” due to that whole gold thing.) Fit-wise, these went on like leggings/jeggings, but were a little looser through the legs like regular, somewhat-skinny jeans. The fact that I can easily cover up most of the stitching with a dress or tunic makes this piece a win. 🙂
All the Stars Top in Mustard
When it comes to clothing, tops/shirts are probably the items that I’m the most choosy about. — Mainly because 99.9% of my wardrobe consists of dresses and I don’t really have much use for shirts. 😉 While I was okay with the design of the tank above, it quickly became a “no” as soon as I noticed the gold-colored ring in the center. (Yes, I’m that picky.)
Corenda Skinny in Black
Gold accents galore this month! Thankfully (for me), the zippers on the solid black leggings above can be easily covered up with just about any long-ish shirt, tunic, or dress. The fit was snug like traditional leggings, but the material was a bit thicker and sleeker (a tad bit of sheen).
Mariel Top in Black
Again, I’m VERY picky about tops/shirts since I wear them so infrequently. The top above is made of a flow-y, lightweight material that would be great for warmer weather. That said, it immediately reminded me of medical scrubs, due to the cut/design of the neckline.
Demi Dress in Ash Mustard
I saved my favorite piece for last, which of course is a dress. 🙂 Much like the dress in my last shipment, this one is also a great color for fall, is made of a super soft material, and has POCKETS! The fit is a bit more snug on top and through the waist, but nice and flow-y on down. I wasn’t a fan of the sleeve length, so I rolled them a bit and was happy with the easy rework. 🙂
Maren Elena Navie Necklace in Silver
With all of the gold details that popped up in this shipment, I was relieved to find a silver necklace included in the mix. This pretty piece features a long chain with a silver bar pendant on one end that can be strung through the silver circle on the opposite end. A little hard to put into words, but hopefully the photos above make it a bit more clear. 😉
Once I decide which items to keep, I could simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
While I would have preferred a lot less gold, I still enjoyed trying on all of the pieces from October Nadine West shipment. Plus, anything that wasn’t a good fit could be sent back at no charge to me! My personal favorites (definite keepers!) were the Kanny Jeggings, Demi Dress, and Navie Necklace. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save $25 when you keep every item in your package with coupon code “ROSEBUDS25“! — OR — Waive the shipping fee on your first package with coupon code “NADINE“!

I too am not big on gold so I marked it for silver or stone but no yellow or gold. I also almost sent my jegging jeans bac but tried them on and love them. This ladt package I found a couple items not to my taste, packed up and wrote short note of what I did not like and segment back same day. I love this service as I hate to shop and it’s a nice surprise once a month for this single empty nest widow…. Yes we too lime to be comfortable and hip even at 60! Thanks for the article.
