Nourish Snacks is a new subscription service founded by NBC’s Today Show nutrition expert, Joy Bauer. Boxes are delivered weekly and focus on satisfying, good-for-you snacks.
All of the snacks contain simple, wholesome ingredients like nuts, seeds, and fruits. There are never any artificial flavors or colors, and everything is GMO- and preservative-free. I believe all of the snacks are vegan (aside from those that contain honey), which of course is a major bonus for me! Oh — and each serving is just 200 calories or less.
Nourish Snacks recently sent me a box for review. — Let’s see what yummy goodness was inside!
First look. Each box contains 5 different portioned out snacks. The outside of the box got a little crushed, but thankfully all of the snackage inside remained unharmed. Tough snacks!
Almond to Cherries – This was a simple mix of roasted almonds and cherries, with a bit of sunflower oil, cane sugar, and salt. The whole bag contains 200 calories, and has 5 grams of protein and 3 grams of fiber. It made for a satisfying, slightly sweet afternoon snack.
King Korn – If you’re craving something with a big crunch and a little salt, these giant corn nuts will do nicely. They’re made with roasted Spanish corn kernels, sunflower oil, and salt. Each serving (the whole bag) is 150 calories and contains 4 grams of both fiber and protein.
Coconuts for You – I love granola and I love coconut — so this was great! It has oats, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, coconut, and other good stuff. One serving has just 150 calories and 3 grams of heart-healthy fiber.
Posh ‘Stachios – These Mediterranean spiced pistachios are flavored with a bunch of spices — including rosemary, basil, garlic and lavender. Quite a mix. Each serving has 160 calories, 6 grams of protein, and 3 grams of fiber.
Cinn-Sational – Another sweet treat. This is a yummy mix of almonds and apples, with a sprinkling of cinnamon, cane sugar, and sea salt. The apples were a little too spongy for my taste, but the flavor was great — love cinnamon & sugar!

These snacks are no different than all the other monthly subscription snacks. A company out of Brooklyn makes all the varieties of nuts, fruits, veggies, corn, beans. A company like Nourish chooses what they want to mix together, they give it a name and brand it with their label. Unimpressed!
