Hey kids, there’s a new snack box in town! Hurrah!
MunchPak just launched today and is offering an awesome discount on your first box — ONLY valid for the next 24 hours! (More on that later!)
What is MunchPak, you say? Simply put, it’s a monthly box of snacks from around the world, delivered right to your door (well, mailbox). You can expect to receive goodies from Japan, Canada, Australia, Sweden, and other snack-producing countries. 😉
I was lucky enough to win a box on the MunchPak Facebook page, so I got to preview the box before today’s launch. Woo! Let’s see what I got, shall we?
As you can see, there were a LOT of snacks. I won’t go into great detail about each one, but I will give you a quick run-down of everything I received. Cool?
Hawaiian Kettle Style Potato Chips – Yay! I love kettle chips! I’m *guessing* these are made in Hawaii.
Skittles Riddles – Apparently the “riddle” is that the colors don’t match the flavors. Kind of a lame excuse for a riddle. It was probably more like “Someone in the flavoring department goofed… Eh, let’s just put ’em out anyway.”
Sour Smog Balls – I don’t know about you, but when I eat smog balls, they MUST be sour. 😉
Starburst GummiBursts – Liquid-filled gummy candies with two flavors per piece.
Indy Marimbas – This is a Mexican cherry flavored lollipop covered with a spicy & sour candy coating.
Crayon Mango Candy – Another Mexican candy. This one is a mango-flavored twist-up push-pop type thing.
Candy El Pecas – These are sort of like a combo of the other 2 candies. They’re mango-flavored lollipops coated in chili-flavored powder.
Mrs. Klein’s Pickle – Hello, pickle. You don’t see these in snack boxes every day. This is a barrel cured dill pickle. It’s HUGE.
Keebler Fudge Stripe Cookies – Classic fudge-dipped shortbread cookies.
Quaker Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Granola Bar – I’m pretty sure these were vegan at one time… Sadly, they no longer are. My loss is my husband’s gain.
Nabisco Oreo Cookies – Yay! Oreo’s actually are vegan, so this was a welcome treat.
Strawberry Rip Rolls – This is a product of Thailand. The description on Amazon says that it’s gum, but it doesn’t mention that anywhere on the actual package. It does say that it’s “40 inches of fun” though. 😉
Sour Punch Straws (3) – Chewy sour candy straws. Not a fan of this kinda stuff. Too much sugar. Bleh.
Kellogg’s Pop Tarts – Strawberry Pop-Tarts. My husband was happy to see these in the box.
Planters Salted Peanuts – I’m all about nuts (hehe), but I usually stick to the unsalted varieties. These will be a nice splurge.
Pure Gummy Yoghurt & Mango – Everything on the package is in Japanese, so… Yeah. I can assume that it’s a gummy candy made with yogurt & mango. Unless the Japanese are into “riddles” too (ala the Skittles above).
Kar’s Sweet & Salty Mix – A hearty mix of nuts, seeds, chocolate candies and raisins.
Laffy Taffy – 2 pieces were included — a snack size piece and a long rope. Both in strawberry flavor.
Mystery Taffy – There were 5 pieces of unmarked taffies. They remain a mystery.
Kellogg’s Rice Krispie Treat – The original rice & marshmallow treat. The package is designed to write on. Why you would want to write on a Rice Krispie Treat is beyond me, but okay. Whatever floats yo’ boat.
Kudos Granola Bars with Snickers – I used to love Kudos when I was little. I was always excited when my mom would pack them in my lunches. Ah, memories.
Loucks Sesame Snaps – This is a product of Poland. They’re little wafer-like crackers made with sesame seeds and sweetener.
Betty Crocker Fruit by the Foot – Ah, another lunch box favorite. And it’s vegan. Woo!
That’s a whole lotta snacks, huh?
Okay, now enter to win a MunchPak below!
