A peek inside!
An info card revealed February’s theme — “The Mountaineer Collection” — and listed all of the items I’d find inside, along with descriptions & retail values for each one.
A second card included a few packing tips (utilizing the items in this month’s box) on one side, as well as details on how to enter their latest contest on the other.
Baladeo Locker 18-Function Multi-Tool ($40)
You’ll always be prepared for just about any situation with the help of this handy 18-function multi-tool. This compact gadget features black aluminum handles, a sturdy nylon belt sheath, and stainless steel tools that include: universal pliers, cutting pliers, knife blade, can opener, punch, saw, corkscrew, hole for thread, and magnetized socket with 3 sizes of flat head screwdrivers/4 sizes of Philips head screwdrivers/5 sizes of wrenches. It’s lightweight and measures just 4 inches long, making it easy to store in your gear pack.
Munkees Keychain Compass w/Thermometer ($4.95)
A must-have piece of gear for any adventurer, this high-caliber compass also has a built-in thermometer to keep you informed of any changes in weather. Just clip it onto your bag and you’re good to go.
Nite Ize DoohicKey Clipkey Tool ($5)
Another multi-function tool, this one is a lot more stripped down than the Baladeo and includes a carabiner clip, bottle opener, serrated edge, scoring point, and slotted or #2 Phillips screwdriver. Clip it to your keys so you’ll always have it handy wherever you go — on the trail or around the house.
Huppybar Whole Food Bar ($2.29)
This whole food nut & seed bar is the official energy bar of the Arizona Trail! It’s loaded with nutrient-dense ingredients including Arizona-grown pecans & chiles, wild harvested mesquite flour, almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, cashews, locally sourced honey, and more. It’s also gluten-free and contains no dairy, soy, preservatives, refined sugars, or GMOs.
February’s Nomadik box included a great selection of items to keep you prepared for just about any obstacles you may run into on your adventures.
