Num-Nums Munch Box is a snack subscription box that sends an assortment of allergy-friendly treats to your door every month. I haven’t gotten a chance to review them since March, so I was thrilled to see their box o’ goodness at my door the other day.
Every snack included in a Num Nums Munch Box is hand-selected and taste tested to ensure that you get the yummiest, highest quality treats available. They choose a wide variety of products so there’ll always be something for everyone in your family to enjoy.
There are 6 different dietary options to choose from: Dairy-Free, Peanut & Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Top 8 Free, Vegan, or Custom. You also have 2 size choices: The Single Box ($21.99 plus shipping) contains 10-12 snacks, while the Double ($43.50) has 20-22.
I was sent a Single Vegan box for review and couldn’t wait to dig in.
Let’s see what’s in the September 2015 Num-Nums Munch Box!
The box was sent via 3-day priority mail and arrived in pristine condition.
A peek inside. There wasn’t an actual info card included (just a packing slip), so I’ll just jump right to the goods…
Brother’s All Natural Fuji Apples with Cinnamon – These are great toddler snacks. We’ve had them before and my girls love ’em. They’re simply freeze dried apples sprinkled with real cinnamon. That’s it — 2 ingredients. I actually prefer the plain ones, just because they really are delicious on their own (no cinnamon needed!).
ThinkFruit Cherries – Whole dried cherries sweetened with sugar. I had these earlier tonight when I was craving something sweet and they totally did the trick.
Angie’s Boom Chicka Pop Sea Salt Popcorn – Yay! I love Angie’s popcorn. It’s made with non-GMO ingredients, has just 35 calories per cup, and is flippin’ fantastic.
NuGo Free Dark Chocolate Crunch Bar – I’m not quite sure why I haven’t eaten this yet because it sounds amazing. It’s a gluten-free/vegan protein bar made with dark chocolate and crisp rice. I’ve never heard of this brand before so I’m excited to try it out.
Go Raw Chewy Apricot Sprouted Bar – I’ve gotten this in a few other subscription boxes and still haven’t tasted it yet. It’s an organic, vegan, and gluten-free snack bar made with sprouted flaxseed, apricot, raisins, dates, and lime juice.
Enjoy Life Margherita Pizza Plentils – These lentil-based chips are free from the 8 common allergens including dairy, gluten, and soy. They have 40% less fat than regular chips and have just 100 calories per serving.
Enjoy Life Garlic & Parmesan Plentils – When I pulled these out of the box I was all “Um, this isn’t vegan”… But when I flipped the bag over to read the ingredients, it turns out they ARE vegan. There’s not any actual parmesan or dairy ingredients of any kind in them. Yay!
Farmer’s Crate Baked Beet Thins – These thinly sliced beet crisps are made with just 2 ingredients: beets and sugar. They’re non-GMO and have just 90 calories per serving (the whole bag).
Pure Organic Wildberry Apple Fruit & Veggie Strip – My girls are still super picky about eating fruits & veggies so we usually rely on alternatives like these strips. This is made with organic fruit & veggie juice & puree and is equal to 2/3 serving of fruits & veggies combined.
Annie’s Homegrown Berry Patch Bunny Fruit Snacks – These organic fruit snacks are free from artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives. They’re also gelatin-free, which is much appreciated.
Stretch Island Raspberry Fruit Chews – I’ve always enjoyed Stretch Island Fruit leather, but had no idea they made fruit chews. Total game changer! Oh, and all of the sugar in these chews comes from the actual fruit — no more is added. I’m definitely going to pick up some more of these ASAP.
As a vegan, I absolutely loved everything inside this month’s Num-Nums Munch Box. A big ol’ box of healthy, vegan snacks… What’s not to love?
