Time to get my snack on! — The August SnackSack has arrived! If you’re not aware, SnackSack is a relatively new subscription box that focuses on delivering natural, “junk-free” snacks to your door every month. All of the snacks included will be free of “artificial junk” and offer a mixture of all natural, vegan, organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, and fair trade products. They’ll all be tucked inside a reusable burlap sack, which is shipped in a large box for ultimate snack protection.
Snakku is a new subscription box that specializes in authentic Japanese snacks. Unlike other Japanese snack boxes, Snakku features a selection of treats that can only be found in small local shops in Japan — some of which have been making snacks for over a hundred years. This gives you a chance to try some of the more traditional (lesser known to the US) variety of treats loved by locals.

The Remedy Rush is a new subscription box that offers a selection of artisan spa and body products. Boxes are sent on a quarterly basis and will contain natural and organic products that are free from icky chemicals including parabens, phthalates, artificial fragrances, GMO ingredients, carrageenan, etc. They’ll feature 5 to 7 of the highest quality bath & body products from 4 or 5 different brands. Each item will be 100% cruelty-free and all packaging will be made with recyclable and/or biodegradable materials. Unlike other subscriptions, The Remedy Rush focuses solely on spa and body products (no cosmetics or makeup).
This is actually my second Birchbox review for August, since I also picked up the guest curated “Candidly Nicole” box (reviewed here).
