Each Our Little Roots box will contain a packet of non-GMO seeds, organic soil, stakes, and a biodegradable peat pot. When you sign up, you’ll get to indicate your level of gardening experience, select where your seeds will be planted (patio/balcony, backyard, front yard, windowsill), and the type of sun exposure the location gets. Since I review so many different subscription boxes throughout the year, I’ve decided to compile a monthly round-up of my top 5 subscription boxes to highlight the best of the best.

The boxes will be chosen based on how awesome they were for that particular month, so hopefully the “winners” will vary a lot from month to month. I’ll take into account my star ratings, but a 5-star review won’t always mean the box will make it to the top 5. Basically, if I loved the contents/curation and/or it had a crazy high overall value, it’ll make the list. :)
