There are two different subscription options available: The World Edition, which introduces your child to a new country every month (for children 5-10) and The USA Edition, which features 2 different states per month (for children 7-12). Each option comes with a different set of materials (World Edition comes with a […]
Once again, Ecocentric Mom delivered an awesomely packed box for August! There’s never any extra room for tissue paper filler/padding in these boxes! Ecocentric Mom offers 3 different subscription options: The Mom-to-Be Box, The Mom Box, or The Mom & Baby Box. Whichever option you choose, you can be sure that your box will contain at least 5-9 (often more!) expertly chosen products for you and/or your baby. Phone Case of the Month is a new subscription for… wait for it… phone cases! Yep, you can give your beloved iPhone a brand new look every month with these super cute cases. Plus, all of the artwork is exclusive to Phone Case of the Month, so you’re definitely not gonna find these designs anywhere else (well, unless someone rips ’em off… but let’s hope they don’t!). They also limit the production of each design to 200 cases, so the chances of someone you know having the same case as you is very, very slim. Oh, and these aren’t some […]
Watanut is a new subscription service specializing in… NUTS! Woo! Oh, but not only nuts… Trail mixes, dried fruits, and granola also find their way into the Watanut party! Here’s the deal: Every month Watanut will send you 4 different healthy snack mixes in convenient, resealable containers. Each mix is a generous 6 ounces, giving you over 1 and a half pounds of snacking goodness! Boxes are $25/month, but you can get ’em for less with a 3-month (or longer) subscription. Alright, time to get a closer look at my nuts! (Yep, I’m five.)
The Other Box is a new subscription box for you and your “other”. Others can be spouses, children, parents… Anyone you love spending time with. Each box includes materials and ideas for a fun activity to enjoy with your “other” of choice. Their mission is for you both to “connect, have fun, and spend intentional quality time together without breaking the bank”.
I’m FINALLY getting caught up on all my reviews. Why is it that I can go a week without any good mail, and then — BAM! — boxes galore! So annoying. I swear my mail guy hoards them all in his truck until he declares the pile high enough to actually deliver. This assumption isn’t helped by the fact that when I envision my mailman, I picture Newman from Seinfeld. Newman would totally do that. Kramer would probably be in on it too… Jerks. Goodie’s Co recently announced they would be offering a Kid’s Box and this is the very first one! I had seen spoilers before I got my box and was very impressed with the snacks included. As with the original Goodies Box, the Kid’s Box is only $7, shipping included! Plus, it comes in a super cute box that your kiddo’s can color. Neat! Let’s see what’s inside!
Sweet Pea Box is a monthly subscription for baby/kid’s clothes (sizes newborn to 8). Splendies is a newish subscription “box” for undies! For only $12 per month, you’ll get 3 pairs of underwear in whichever size you choose. The catch is, you don’t get to choose the style. They send you 3 randomly selected undies that can vary by brand, color, style, etc. The only thing you’ll know for sure is the size. Mystery undies!
*As of December 2015, Citrus Lane is no longer in business. If you’re looking for an alternative, bluum is a great choice. — You can see my reviews of them here. With bluum, you can choose your own products and build your own box. They feature the same great brands, plus you can save $10 on your first month with coupon code “MRVA286CCE“.* Once again Citrus Lane teased me with their early shipping. My box departed on the 13th, yet still didn’t make it to me until the 21st. SO slow! Thankfully, I was pretty happy with the contents, so I’ll […]
MakrBox is a new subscription service that delivers useful, handmade products to your door every month. They promise to provide 100% artisan goods that are “durable, sustainable & useful.” Each month will feature 2-3 household products created by “makers” (real people who create handcrafted goods with a purpose), craftsmen, and designers.
Tasty Bite recently contacted me to see if I would be interested in reviewing some of their ready-to-eat meals. I’ll be honest, I was a little skeptical of the whole “meal in a pouch” thing, but I was curious, so I accepted their offer. (I’m glad I did!) Tasty Bite specialize in both Indian and Pan-Asian dishes, many of which are vegan or vegetarian. (They also offer gluten-free and kosher options.) The meals are fully cooked and sealed in multi-layered pouches that keep it fresh for up to 18 months. They’re perfect for taking to work, on a camping trip, […]
It’s Conscious Box time again! A couple weeks ago I reviewed the Summer Mystery Box… That one was a “bonus” that you could purchase separately, in addition to your normal subscription. This one is the “regular” August (vegan) box. There’s also another “bonus” box that’s shipping in early September called the “1% Box”. I believe that one’s still for sale. But yeah, this is the normal August one. (Confused yet?) Alrighty, let’s see what’s in my August box!
This is my second Love With Food box and the theme this month is “Backyard BBQ”. Thankfully, despite the not-so-vegan theme, there were quite a few vegan-friendly items in the box. Yippee! Each box is only $10/month (plus $2 shipping). There’s also a code available to get your first box FREE (I’ll share that with you at the end of the review… Be patient!). As always, with each box you purchase, Love With Food donates a meal to a person in need. Gotta love that! So let’s see what I got this time around…
