Urthbox is a relatively new subscription box that delivers healthy foods, snacks, and beverages right to your door every month.

Urthbox focuses on products that are natural, organic, and GMO-free. They have 4 different box options to choose from: Classic, Vegan, Gluten-free, and Diet. Whichever box you choose, you’ll receive at least 10 products from a variety of health-conscious companies. Boxes are $25/month and shipping is free. Oh, and they also have a great rewards program that gives you credits to use in their soon to be opened online shop!

I was supposed to receive the Vegan box, but there was a mixup and I was sent the “Classic” one instead. To make up for it, Urthbox is going to send me February’s Vegan box, so stay tuned for that review in the coming weeks!

Tea Sparrow is a subscription service for — you guessed it — loose leaf teas. The Tea Sparrow team diligently samples various blends from around the globe. When they find their favorites, they pack ’em up and send them along to their lucky subscribers.

Ecocentric Mom recently switched from a monthly box to an every-other-month box. I was a little bummed about it at first, but I’m kinda happy about the change now. It saves me money and gives me more time to use up the products before the next box arrives.

As always, I received the “Mom & Baby” box this month. The other two options available are a “Mom-to-Be Box” and just a plain ol’ “Mom” box. Subscriptions are $24/box, but they often have discount codes available that are often good for the life of your sub. Austin Lloyd January 2014 Review & Discount Code

Austin Lloyd is a great new(ish) subscription box for little ones. They offer unique, high-end toys selected specifically for your child’s current “play level”. I was lucky enough to be sent a review box this past November (which I LOVED), and even luckier to have won January’s box via a blog giveaway. Woo!

Austin Lloyd is committed to providing toys that are not only engaging, but also bpa & phthalate free. None of the toys will ever require batteries and the total value of the items will always exceed the cost of your box. Awesome! Oh, did I mention that they also give you the option of sending your toys back once you’ve outgrown them so they can donate them to a charity? Yep. They do that too.

Every box contains 4-5 toys and at least 1 book. Month-to-month subscriptions are $49.99 (or less with a 6-month commitment) and shipping is always free.

Nibblr Snack Box Review and (4 Box!) Giveaway! Ends 2/10/14

Nibblr is a new snack subscription that offers a variety of portion-controlled snacks delivered to your door weekly, bi-weekly, or once a month (it’s up to you!). They currently have over 50 different snack mixes, ranging from fruit & nut blends, to “feel good sweets”, to more savory choices.

Nibblr offers a cool rating system on their site so that you can choose which types of snacks you’d most like to try, as well as which ones you just wanna avoid altogether. I used the system to weed out all of the non-vegan snacks, and it totally worked! All of the snacks I received were ones that I had rated “Love It”. (The non-vegan ones were rated with “No Thanks”.) You can also view and rate snacks based on their calorie content (under 150 calories vs. over). Neat!

Q Box January 2014 Review & Discount Code!

Q Box is a brand new subscription box that offers a neat assortment of goodies (mostly) from South Korea and Japan. Products can range anywhere from housewares, to beauty, fashion, and anywhere in between. Boxes are $24.95/month or less with longer commitments.

Every box will have at least 5 to 7 products, including one piece of “high quality jewelry”. They also have a shop on their site with a handful of cute, kitschy items for sale (like the birdhouse keyring above!).

Citrus Lane? Already?! I normally get my box around the 22nd, so seeing that it was out for delivery today was quite a nifty surprise. Nifty gallifty. (Yep, I’m using Daniel Tiger references now. I’m a total mom.)

If you don’t already know, Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription for babies/kids (aged newborn-5). It’s $29/month (cheaper with longer subs) and includes a nice assortment of toys, books, snacks, toiletries, etc. Sometimes they even include a gift for mom. (Not in the last couple months. Boo.)

Emmy’s Organics Vegan Macaroon Review & Giveaway! Ends 1/31/14

I was recently given a generous (and delicious!) opportunity to sample some vegan macaroons from Emmy’s Organics. I had actually heard of them for a while now, but have yet to try them myself. So, as a longtime vegan and an even longer time fan of snacks in general, I was beyond excited when these little treats arrived at my doorstep.

Emmy’s macaroons are not only vegan, but also 100% gluten-free and made with raw, non-GMO ingredients. Awesome!

Okay, let’s talk about flavors… There’s 7 of ’em: Mint Chip, Choco Chili, Lemon Ginger, Dark Cacao, Coconut Vanilla, Chai Spice, and Choco Orange. They also currently have a limited edition flavor — Mocha! Mmmm!

Caffe Borsa Coffee Review & Giveaway! Ends 1/27/14

I was recently given an opportunity to review an innovative new coffee product — Caffe Borsa Hand Drip Coffee Packets! I love me some coffee, so I happily accepted their offer. (They’re also letting me host a giveaway for my readers — woohoo!)

Caffe Borsa’s Hand Drip Coffee is a neat alternative to instant coffee — it’s portable, convenient, eco-friendly and actually tastes good too! Each packet is basically its own little brewing system. You simply open it up, attach it to your mug, fill with hot water, and bam! — Fresh coffee!

I’ll be honest, I’m a K-cup addict and LOVE my Keurig. However, I totally would have taken these to work back in my proofreading days. (We had godawful vending machine coffee and it was beyond bad.) Since I’m not currently a workin’ woman, I think I’m going to bring a few of these over to my non-coffee drinkin’ sister’s house to stash there for when I have a coffee craving. They’d also be great for camping and traveling… Or any situation that lacks decent coffee.

A Little Bundle December 2013 Review

A Little Bundle is a new(ish) subscription service that delivers fun and functional products for mommas and babies up to 2 years old. Every bundle consists of at least 4 carefully chosen items for you and your little one.

A Little Bundle selects only the best products to include each month — all items are non-toxic, beautifully crafted, and preferably natural and/or organic. Many are from small/independent businesses, and because of this, it’s unlikely that two boxes are entirely the same. Good news for those of you who try to avoid seeing spoilers — your contents remain a surprise until you open your ~~box~~ bundle! 🙂

Needless to say, I was pretty damn excited when A Little Bundle agreed to send me one of their boxes for review. I had seen some of their previous boxes and they were awesome!
