You’ll receive a themed date night idea card with instructions about the date, as well as all items needed to create the date from beginning to end. Also provided will be 6-12 conversation cards to go along with the theme and 3-6 “kiss cards” to turn up the heat.
Subscriptions are $33/month or less with multi-month commitments. (Through the end of September, you can save 15% on your first month with coupon code “2LITTLERB0815″.)
Let’s see what’s in the August 2015 PitterPat Package!
Everything was shipped in a plain brown box via priority mail.
A peek inside!
The theme for August’s box was “Paint Your Partner!” and included everything you & your partner need to paint portraits of one another. Cute!
Artist’s Berets – Two fun “artist’s berets” were included for you and your partner to wear during the date. I’m not quite sure if my husband will be down with this part, but we’ll see. 😉
Canvases – Two 8×10 canvases were included to hold your future masterpieces.
Paint – Can’t have a painting without paint, no? Six tubes of acrylic paint in a range of colors were included: Black, yellow, burnt sienna, green, blue, and red.
Brushes – A set of four paintbrushes with different widths and shapes was also provided for obvious reasons.
Palettes – Two plastic paint palettes for storing and mixing colors.
Conversation Cards – Each time you or your partner changes paint colors, you must pick a conversation card and answer one of the questions printed on it. There were only 6 questions in all and some of them were kinda silly, but I do like the concept.
Kiss Cards – If you’d like, you can forgo the conversation card and go for one of these “kiss cards” instead. There were 4 in all, with each describing a different type of kiss that you must perform on your partner.
Easels – Finally, two black tabletop easels were included to proudly display your portraits at the conclusion of the date.
I thought the theme for the August PitterPat Packages box was super cute. I’m a little nervous as to how our paintings will turn out (mostly mine), but I’m excited to give it a go. It’s definitely not the type of thing my husband and I would think of to do on our own, but that’s totally the point. It’ll push us out of our comfort zone and encourage us to put our iPhones away for a few hours to enjoy a little “us” time. I’m looking forward to it!
If you’d like to sign up for PitterPat Packages, you can save 15% on your first month with coupon code “2LITTLERB0815″. But hurry — offer is only good through the end of September!
