After seeing the spoilers a few days ago, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the August POPSUGAR Must Have!
If you’re new here, POPSUGAR Must Have is a monthly lifestyle subscription box that’s curated with a fun variety of “on trend” products curated by the POPSUGAR team. Items can range from food, beauty, household, fashion, fitness gear and everything in between. Unlike a lot of other subscription boxes, everything in this box is full sized.
Monthly boxes are $39.95 and there’s almost always a discount code available (I’ve included one at the end of this post!). With most boxes having values of $100+, it’s a GREAT deal!
Okay, let’s see what’s in the August 2015 POPSUGAR Must Have box!
August’s box was inspired by the following themes: Organization, morning routines, celebrations, caffeine, and back to school.
As always, the info card included photos, descriptions, and retail values for each item.
Royal Apothic Tea Balm Firming Eye Treatment ($36) – This is the first (and only?) spoiler that was officially released for August. It’s a firming eye balm made with a blend of green, black, and ceylon tea to nourish the eye area with antioxidants. It also contains superfruit extracts including goji berry and pomegranate to help reduce bags and dark spots.
American Colors Mediterranean Plaid Scarf ($79) – I love this! While I don’t wear scarves as much as I’d like (never sure what to wear them with), I’m always happy to get a new one. This is made of 100% cotton and features a different pattern on each side. I’d never shell out $79 for this myself, but I’m totally cool with receiving it in a subscription box. 😉
Happy Jackson Yay Lunch! Lunch Box ($10) – While I think this looks cute, it’s not really as functional as I’d like. It’s labeled as not safe for microwave or dishwasher use, which is sort of a must in this house. Plus, I wish it had more than one compartment. I do still like it though, so I’ll likely use it for craft supplies or to hold small toys for the girls.
Pastel Best Day Ever Mug ($12) – The last thing I need is another mug, but I’ll take it. I’m not crazy about the design (a little too 70’s for me), but it’s useful… Maybe I’ll stick a plant in it. 🙂
Shortstacks Southern Culture Birthday Cake Pancake & Waffle Mix ($7.99) – I was SO happy to find out that this pancake/waffle mix was vegan-friendly! They even include both a “classic recipe” and a “vegan recipe” in the directions. Awesome! Can’t wait to try it.
Meri Meri Toot Sweet Pink Stripe Napkins ($5.95) – I definitely would have set these out for my girl’s 3rd birthday a week ago. These would have fit perfectly with their Hello Kitty theme!
MyYogaWorks 3 Month Trial ($45) – Meh. I’m never a fan of online trials included as actual products. I just never use ’em. Ah well.
Folgers Iced Cafe Caramel Macchiato Flavored Coffee Drink Concentrate ($4.99) – This is listed as a “special extra”. Just add 2 drops of this coffee concentrate to cold milk and add ice for a quick & easy iced coffee drink.
I’m super happy with August’s POPSUGAR Must Have box! I’ll use every single item included — even if not for its intended purpose. 😉 (Well, minus the yoga thing. Won’t be using that.) The total was impressive as always too — $155 in products! That’s not even including the $45 yoga trial. Crazy high value month!
If you’d like to check out POPSUGAR Must Have for yourself, you can still save $5 on your first box when you use coupon code “MUSTHAVE5” at checkout. That’ll make your box around $35 shipped! — This August box is already sold out, so grab September’s while it’s still available!

I was also very excited about the vegan pancake and waffle mix. I already told my husband that is what we are making for breakfast on Saturday morning. The mug I will bring to work and use it for storing pens and pencils and stuff. Overall a really great box.

I’m excited about the mix too! 😀 How did they turn out?
