Woo! My July POPSUGAR Must Have box is here!

If you’re new around these parts, POPSUGAR Must Have is a monthly lifestyle subscription box that’s curated with a fun variety of “on trend” products curated by the POPSUGAR team. Items can range from food, beauty, household, fashion, fitness gear and everything in between. Unlike a lot of other subscription boxes, everything in this box is full sized. No foil packets in this bad boy.

Monthly boxes are $39.95 and there’s almost always a discount code available (I’ve included one at the end of this post!). With most boxes having values of $100+, it’s a GREAT deal!

Okay, let’s see what’s in the July POPSUGAR Must Have box!

July’s box was inspired by the following (quite appropriate) themes: beach days, easy travel, summer heat, fourth of July, & stripes.

As always, the info card included photos, descriptions, and retail values for each item.

Henri Bendel Signature Stripe Canvas Dopp Kit ($28) – I certainly don’t need any more makeup cases or travel bags in my life, but I really dig this little dopp kit. I like how it expands when unzipped so you can easily access whatever’s inside, plus the water-resistant lining is a nice touch too. Oh, and I’m a big fan of the wide stripes too. Now if only I had somewhere to go…

Supergoop! Defense Refresh Setting Mist SPF 50 ($28) – I’ve never used a setting mist before, so I wasn’t too excited when I saw the spoiler for this. That said, it does sound like a useful product. Not only does it help to set your makeup, but it also controls oil and provides UV protection. Since you spray this on after applying your makeup, it can be used throughout the day to refresh (and protect) your skin.

Sorial Card Case ($28) – Okay, not too excited about this one. I’m not sure if this is leather or man-made, but either way, it’s just “meh”. I just don’t have much of a use for a card case. It also came with a $25 coupon code on my next Sorial purchase, but that’s just as useful to me as the holder.

Pop Dental Portable Toothbrush ($19.99) – I’ve never used a battery operated toothbrush before, so I’m kinda looking forward to trying this out. I like the sleek design and really wish I had somewhere to go so I could actually travel with it. It comes with a replacement brush head and the required AAA battery. I love the purple and pink versions they have on their site… so pretty!

Yes to Blueberries Cleansing Facial Wipes ($4.31) – I wish I could get into cleansing wipes, but I have so many steps in my cleansing routine that these just wouldn’t cut it. I’m sure they’re great for travel, but since I haven’t stayed overnight anywhere since… 2011 maybe?… I don’t have much use for ’em. I know lots of people love this brand though and I bet these smell amazing.

Hallmark Signature Greeting Cards ($17.97) – These were noted as a “Special Extra” on the info card. Subscribers received a selection of 3 Hallmark Signature cards in a variety of styles. The cards are beautifully made and I was happy to get such a useful “extra”. The details on the bride-to-be card are adorable and the “Hello Beautiful” card is actually made of a thick acrylic(?) material.

The Good Bean Fruit & No-Nut Bar in Chocolate Berry ($1.99) – Yay! A vegan snack! I haven’t tried this yet, but it looks pretty damn good. It’s made with chickpeas, dark chocolate, cherries, blueberries, and other good-for-you ingredients. It’s also packed with fiber and protein.

While I wasn’t exactly blown away by this month’s POPSUGAR Must Have box, I did enjoy it more than June’s offering. The dopp kit was neat and totally made me want to travel like NOW. I also like the fancy cards, the toothbrush, and the vegan-friendly snack choice. As always, the value was impressive — totaling roughly $130!
