September POPSUGAR Must Have unboxing time!
If you’re new here, POPSUGAR Must Have is a monthly lifestyle subscription box that’s curated with a fun variety of “on trend” products curated by the POPSUGAR team. Items can range from food, beauty, household, fashion, fitness gear and everything in between. Unlike a lot of other subscription boxes, everything in this box is full sized.
Monthly boxes are $39.95 and there’s almost always a discount code available (I’ve included one at the end of this post!). With most boxes having values of $100+, it’s a GREAT deal!
Okay, let’s see what’s in the September 2015 POPSUGAR Must Have box!
September’s box was inspired by the following themes: Travel, Refresh, Fashion Fix, Beauty Recovery, To-Go Snacks, & XOXO.
As always, the info card included photos, descriptions, and retail values for each item.
Hudson + Bleecker Labyrinth Onyx Travel Trio ($42) – This 3-piece travel set includes a TSA-friendly clear pouch and two drawstring bags — one for shoes and the other for intimates. The little “shoe” and “bra” tags are a cute (and helpful!) touch. While I’d never personally pay $42 for something like this, it’ll be nice to have for future travels.
Kris Nations “XOXO” Bar Chain Bracelet ($35) – I got the bracelet! — It looks like most subscribers received “XO” earrings, but since I don’t have pierced ears, I got the bracelet version instead. While I don’t wear loose bracelets (or gold), I was still kind of excited to get this in place of the earrings. This dainty little piece is made from recycled brass and plated with 14k gold. I’m not sure if I’m going to keep it, gift it, or sell it, so I kept it in the (adorable) glass bottle for now. (The second photo is from the Kris Nations site.)
NCLA So Rich Vitamin-E Enriched Cuticle Oil ($18) – This is described as a “luxurious oil treatment that promotes strong and healthy nails for a look that says ‘I’ve never worked a day in my life'”. I honestly never use cuticle oil, so I’m not sure if I should start, or just pass this along to someone who already does.
Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray ($20) – A leave-in conditioning spray that repairs, hydrates, and strengthens weak and damaged hair. It contains rosehip, argan, and coconut oils for a smooth, healthy looking shine.
Too Faced Cosmetics Brow Envy Brow Shaping & Defining Kit ($39) – I believe this was the first spoiler POPSUGAR released for this month’s box. It’s a complete brow kit that includes professional tweezers, an angled brush and brow comb, and two shades for both blondes and brunettes to customize their own color. It also includes a setting wax and highlighter, as well as stencils and a handy how-to guide.
Nourish Snacks Almond to Cherries ($2) – A simple mix of sweetened cherries and almonds. I’m always happy when they include a vegan-friendly snack!
While I didn’t love this month’s POPSUGAR Must Have box as much as last month’s, I still thought it was a pretty solid offering. As always, the total was crazy impressive — over $150 in products!
If you’d like to check out POPSUGAR Must Have for yourself, you can still save $5 on your first box when you use coupon code “MUSTHAVE5” at checkout. That’ll make your box around $35 shipped!

I wish I had gotten the bracelet instead of the earrings (I have gauged ears so cannot wear the earrings either) but the glass bottle is so cute I am going to gift it to one of my nieces. I agree the price for the travel set is a little high, but it is a really nice set and I am already using both the bra bag and the shoe bag for my two-week vacation (I fly out tonight) so it came at the perfect time for me.

I think I was just stoked to get the bracelet cos most people got the earrings. 😉 Yeah, I usually toss extra shoes in a grocery bag, so the pricey drawstring one is a nice alternative. haha
