PostBox by Postmark’d Studio is a subscription box that features artisanal greeting cards and postcards created by artists around the globe.
Each box will include 4 greeting cards, 1 postcard, postage stamps, and a fun artsy item such as a pen, pencil, or knick-knack based on that month’s particular theme. The cards are all handcrafted by a variety of different artists/companies, which means you’ll get a nice sampling of unique designs to send to your friends and loved ones.

Let’s see what’s in the October 2019 Postmark’d PostBox!
Instead of the usual box, this month everything was shipped in a small brown mailer.
The contents!
All boxes come with a little hand-written note from the founder. — I love the autumn/rustic-inspired flannel plaid detail this month!
A 2-sided info card revealed the theme for October’s PostBox — “Octo-BEAR”. It also listed all of the cards included, along with the artists who made them. The reverse side of the info card introduced subscribers to Kimberly Dodges, an ephemeral mail artist who scours thrift stores for the perfect illustrations to include in her creations.
As always, all of the items were neatly stacked together and secured with a piece of twine — this time held together with a pretty wax seal.
Happy Birthday Yeppie Paper/Los Angeles, CA
At first glance, I assumed the wading bear was (naturally) catching fish — NOPE! He’s preying on delicious frosted cupcakes. A much better choice if you ask me. 😉 Created by a sister/brother team based in Los Angeles, this card is perfect for sending birthday wishes to lovers of wildlife, the outdoors, and of course, cupcakes.
Thank You Driscoll Design/Seattle, WA
This watercolor card is awash (get it?) with woodland vibes. A happy brown bear offers his gratitude by way of a colorful banner strung between his paws. A buffalo plaid lined envelope complements the cozy woodland theme.
Sunflower Bear Polanshek of the Hills/Fairfax, VT
Ideal for just about any occasion, this folksy card from Polanshek of the Hills features a standing brown bear holding bouquets of sunflowers in both his arms and on his back. It’s a larger 5×7 inch size and comes with a standard kraft envelope.
Bear Shadow Puppet Fluid Ink Press/Perth, Western Australia
Another card that would suit just about any occasion, this one features an image of a shadow puppet bear created using a combination of both watercolor and letterpress. It’s printed on cotton blend paper using oil based ink.
Smokey the Bear Postcard Lantern Press/Seattle, WA
Welp, this postcard couldn’t be any more ideal for this month’s theme — Smokey the Bear standing at his mailbox, reading some good ol’ snail mail. Perfect!
Beary Important Note Pad Noteworthy Press/Missoula, MT
You can never have enough notepads! This 3.5″ x 8.5″ pad from Noteworthy Press features an image of a brown bear at the bottom with the phrase “Beary Important Things” up at the top. It has 50 total sheets and comes with a magnet for easily securing to your fridge.
Moonstruck Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Almond Bar
This chocolate bar wasn’t listed on the info card, but I’m more than happy to have received it! Not only is it all natural, gluten-free, and non-GMO — but it’s also vegan-friendly! Woo! I can’t wait to devour it. 🙂
Vintage Postage Stamps
October’s box included a variety of differently themed vintage postage stamps, along with a handy guide that shows which ones can be used together to equal a single stamp at today’s current postage rates. Also included was a cute bear-shaped paperclip.
Postmark’d Studio Postcard
These signature postcards are always included, but October’s was lovingly decorated by Anne (PostBox founder) and it’s too cool! Sadly, the wax seal tore a bit of the paper off, but it could easily be covered up with another sticker. 😉
Okay, I’ll just go ahead and say it… October’s PostBox theme was un-bear-ably adorable! Woodland friends and puns galore! Oh, and vegan-friendly chocolate too. What’s not to love? 😀 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 40% on your 1st box when you sign up for a 3-month subscription! — Just use coupon code “2LRB404ME” at checkout.
