PupJoy is a subscription box that sends a customized selection of goodies to your furry friend every month.
Unlike many other pet boxes, PupJoy lets you fully personalize your subscription to best suit your dog’s needs. You can choose from two different box sizes (Uno for one dog or Grande for a large dog or multiple). Then you get to pick the type of box you’d like (treats, toys, accessories, all of the above), your treat preference (gourmet or grain free), collar size, and toy needs. You also provide your dog’s name, gender, birthday, and size.
Subscriptions are $29/month for the Uno and $39/month for Grande (or less with multi-month commitments). Shipping is free!
Let’s see what’s in my August 2015 PupJoy box!
Everything was shipped in a large black box with the PupJoy logo on top.
A peek inside!
There wasn’t a printed info card included, but according to the note above you can view all of the products right on their website. I don’t personally have any pets, and since this was just a review box it wasn’t customized to a particular dog.
Pawduke All Natural Dog Treats in Banana Carrot Flavor – This is one BIG bag of dog treats! They’re grain-free, corn-free, soy-free, and vegetarian (vegan even!). All natural ingredients include garbanzo bean flour, applesauce, carrots, and cinnamon. I almost want to try them myself… Almost.
Hip Doggie The Claw ($9.97) – Okay, I’m a little creeped out by this… I didn’t notice it at first, but this plush tiger arm actually has a bloody stump on the end of it. Ewww! It also has a little squeaker inside and I’m sure it would be a big hit with the woof-woof crowd.
Your Pet Chef No Guilt Treats (~$8) – These all natural treats are made with locally grown, fresh ingredients including lamb (aww), carrots, and kale. They’re also grain and gluten free.
Fab Dog Squeaker Toy ($12) – A cute doggy dog toy with five squeakers — one in his belly and one in each of his feet. Plenty of squeaky fun for your furry friend!
PupChips ($5.95) – Ready for these ingredients? Here goes… Apples. Yep, just apples. Now these are some dog treats that I can totally get behind. (And… eat.) 😉
PupJoy is a great box for anyone who wants to spoil their furry friend. The level of customization is great and I like that they include all natural, high quality treats. While I wasn’t able to find prices for everything, I’d say the value was definitely there based on the ones I did find.
If you’d like to sign up for PupJoy, you can get a $5 bonus (they have a great rewards program!) when you use coupon code “BONUSPOINTSCRATEJOY” at checkout.
