RC Subscription is a unique subscription box that sends you a new remote controlled toy every month.
The toys are hand-picked by experts and include the latest drones, helicopters, and cars on the market. Each toy is guaranteed to have at least a $60 value. When you sign up, you’ll even receive a bonus helicopter with your first shipment. The value of the helicopter goes up with longer, multi-month commitments.
Subscriptions are $29.95 a month (shipping included), or less with 3, 6, and 12 month plans.
Let’s see what’s in my RC Subscription box!
There was no branded outer box, so I skipped the boring pre-unboxing photo. Inside, however, was this cool RC Helicopter! — A Nano Hercules Helipilot, to be exact.
The helicopter is by World Tech Toys and currently sells for $50 on Amazon! Nice. It has a ton of features, which you can see on the back of the box above.
Some of the features include music/sound effects with vibration, 2.4GHz radio technology, full functional speed throttle with light, a USB charging port, and more. Oh, and according to the box, you can step on it and it won’t even break. Impressive!

The joystick is pretty big. Okay, really big. My husband had a hard time figuring it out, but to be fair, he knows NOTHING about RC toys. I recorded his first few attempts in the video below. You can hear the neat sound effects and sweet “rock” music too. 😉 (Don’t mind the weeds, our yard is “under construction”.)
Although we totally sucked at trying to control it, the helicopter RC Subscription chose to send us was actually really cool. The value was great too! While this clearly isn’t a subscription box for us personally, I’m sure it would be an ideal one for any fan of RC toys. In fact, we’re giving our helicopter to my nephew, who’s all about ’em! (You’re welcome, Nick!) Oh yeah, it would also make an awesome Father’s Day gift for all those hard-to-buy-for dudes out there! Just sayin’. 🙂
