Let’s see what’s in the November 2015 ReadySet Box!
The box!
A peek inside. Caaandy! There wasn’t an info card enclosed, so… onto the treats!
Peanut M&M’s – I’m sure everyone is well aware of what these are. My kiddos love the plain ones, but the peanut version is daddy’s favorite so these will go to him.
Sour Punch Strawberry Straws – Sour strawberry flavored candy “straws” sprinkled with a dusting of sugar crystals. I’m guessing these are probably similar to Sour Patch Kids?
Sour Jacks Watermelon Soft & Chewy Sour Candies – Another sour, sugar-coated candy… but in bite sized, watermelon flavored pieces.
Pepperidge Farms Cheddar Goldfish Crackers – A great toddler-approved snack. Who doesn’t love these cute little crackers?
Lik-m-Aid Cherry Yum Fun Dip – I used to LOVE Fun Dip back in the day. At first I was surprised to see the “No Artificial Flavors” claim on the package, but then realized that it’s basically 100% sugar so it makes sense. 😉
eFrutti Pizza Gummi Candy – These are the sort of novelty candies I would have bugged my mom to buy me, but would never end up getting eaten. It would probably just serve as dinner for my stuffed animals or Barbies. Pound Puppies need food too!
Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats Crispy Marshmallow Square – Now these I LOVED. Well, before going vegan anyway. (Though I do make my own version now with vegan-friendly marshmallows!) This square is quite larger than I remember them being… Maybe 4″ x 6″? It’s huge!
Brach’s Orchard Fruit Snacks – Surprisingly, the first ingredient in these gummies is orange juice from concentrate. Of course, the rest is mostly various forms of sugar, but still. 😉
Orange-Shaped Candy – I have no idea what brand this is or what it’s called… It’s simply a little plastic orange filled with tiny round candies. I know I’ve seen them before in various fruit shapes, but I never really gave any thought to what they were called or who made ’em. But yeah… another candy I would have bugged my parents for and never actually end up eating.
Tootsie Strawberry Frooties – A fruit-flavored version of the Tootsie Roll. I remember loving these, so I just Googled to see if they (like the original Toostie Roll) contain dairy, and they do. 🙁
ReadySet Box delivered just what they promised — a big ol’ box of sweet treats. There was a nice mix of different flavors and “types” of candy/snacks and it seemed like a decent value for $10.99/month. Even better when you can get your first box for just $9.99 with coupon code “CANDY123“. 🙂
