If you’ve read my blog for a while, you know I’m not a huge fan of “beauty” products (especially makeup). Thankfully, this box had a nice mix of beauty and bath/body stuff. That was definitely a relief. 😉
Let’s see what was inside, shall we?
The contents were wrapped in black tissue paper tied with string. Simple, yet chic.
LVX Nail Lacquer in “Rive” – I’ve gotten this brand of polish in the premier Vegan Cuts Beauty Box and wasn’t a fan of the color I received. I gotta say, I feel the same way about this one. I like bolder shades and this one is just kinda blah. It’s described as “the perfect nude for summer”, which is a bummer since it’s almost autumn. Other than my color issues (geez that didn’t sound good, did it?!), this is definitely a quality product. It’s vegan, long-lasting, chip resistant, and free of harsh chemicals. It’s also made right here in the USA. Woo!
Neuma Shampoo, Conditioner, & Masque – I totally need this! This shampoo/conditioner is super moisturizing and helps to tame dry/frizzy hair. It’s also vegan (duh), sulfate-free, and makes hair more resistant to humidity (yay!). The intensive masque moisturizes even deeper (ooh la la!). 😉
Pura Botanica Natural Bar Soap – I always say this, but I LOVE getting bar soap in sub boxes. This one is “chai vanilla” scented and totally reminds me of autumn. It’s made with certified organic vegetable oils, plant extracts, and natural essential oils. I can’t wait until my current bar runs out so I can use this one!
Arbonne Lip Polish Sample Set – Sadly, I don’t wear lipstick/gloss because my lips are tiny and I always feel like it makes them look even tinier. Sometimes I wonder if I’m just using the wrong shades, so maybe these little samples will help me find a color that looks okay on my barely-there lips… Maybe. (Damn you, genetics!)
The Excellent Tea Company Teas – These are 3 samples of African black tea. Grown in Rwanda, it’s fair trade certified, single-source, and pesticide-free. These can be enjoyed hot or cold.
I wasn’t really sure how I’d feel about Petit Vour, considering how I feel about beauty products, but I was definitely happy with what I received. It was also a great value… The nail polish alone just about covers the cost of the entire box! You definitely get your money’s worth with this one!
Okay, giveaway time!! Petit Vour was kind enough to offer one of my readers a free box! As always, just fill out thee ol’ Rafflecopter form by clicking on the image below.
Good luck! 🙂
