Sips By is a subscription box that sends you a personalized selection of teas on a monthly basis.
Each box will contain 4 premium teas — enough to make 15 cups — that are specifically chosen for YOU based on your Sips By profile. Upon signing up, you’ll be asked a series of questions to determine which types of tea you’d most enjoy. You can specify your preferences when it comes to the benefits you look for in a tea (stress relief, weight loss, sleep aid, taste, energy, etc), preferred flavors (unflavored, citrus, berry, mint, floral, earthy, sweet, etc.), and more. You’ll also be able to rate your teas on their site to help them curate more matches for you in the future.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $15/month with free shipping within the US. — For a limited time, you can save $5 on your first box with coupon code “2ROSEBUDS“!
Let’s see what’s in my April 2019 Sips By box!
Everything was shipped in a small box with the Sips By logo on top.
A peek inside!
A personalized info card listed all of the teas included in my April box, along with brief descriptions, steeping times, and coupon codes.
My first tea was a flavorful rooibos chai from Harney & Sons. This soothing, caffeine-free blend consists of South African rooibos, coriander seed, fennel seed, cinnamon, cardamom, and nutmeg. Four single-serve sachets were included.
Another caffeine-free variety, this herbal tea features a blend of kava kava root, chamomile flower, passion flower vine, skullcap herb, St. John’s Wort, spearmint leaf, lavender flower, and cinnamon. All of the ingredients were grown without the use of any pesticides or herbicides and were sustainably harvested from their native environment. The tea bags themselves are both bleach-free and biodegradable.
I love both green tea and anything coconut, so I’m looking forward to trying this blend! The Steeping Room claims that this is the most popular tea that they carry. It’s a straight-forward blend of green tea, coconut, and natural flavor.
A cool & refreshing herbal tea, this organic blend is great for soothing your tummy and alleviating digestive discomfort. It consists of just two (100% organic!) ingredients: green tea and peppermint leaf.
Sips By Tea Bags
If your box contains loose leaf tea you’ll also receive a reusable muslin cloth tea bag, along with a handful of disposable bags. If you’re lazy like me and don’t like cleaning out traditional tea balls/strainers, these are an awesome alternative.
My April Sips By box included a nice sampling of both caffeine-free and low-to-medium caffeine blends. I’m most excited to try the Harney & Sons Rooibos Chai and The Steeping Room Beautiful Coconut. — Remember, for a limited time you can save $5 on your first box with coupon code “2ROSEBUDS“!

I’m getting a little overwhelmed by all of the minty teas I’ve been getting, but otherwise I’m happy with my selections. 🙂
