August 2018 Sips By review time!
If you haven’t heard, Sips By is a subscription box that sends you a personalized selection of teas on a monthly basis. Each box will contain 4 premium teas — enough to make 15 cups — that are specifically chosen for YOU based on your Sips By profile. Upon signing up, you’ll be asked a series of questions to determine which types of tea you’d most enjoy. You can specify your preferences when it comes to the benefits you look for in a tea (stress relief, weight loss, sleep aid, taste, energy, etc), preferred flavors (unflavored, citrus, berry, mint, floral, earthy, sweet, etc.), and more. You’ll also be able to rate your teas on their site to help them curate more matches for you in the future.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $15/month with free shipping within the US. — For a limited time, you can save $5 on your first box with coupon code “2ROSEBUDS“!
Let’s see what’s in my August 2018 Sips By box!
Everything was shipped in a small box with the Sips By logo on top.
A peek inside!
A personalized info card listed all of the teas included in my August box, along with brief descriptions, steeping times, and coupon codes.
A flavorful chai tea inspired by the garnet — a sensual stone of purification and love. It features a spicy blend of South African red rooibos, cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger root. Sounds like a nice tea to save for the upcoming chillier autumn weather. 🙂
More fitting for summer, this light & calming herbal blend includes organic lemon balm, linden, chamomile, licorice, lavender, and rose petals. It’s naturally caffeine-free and designed to lift your mood at the end of a long day.
An organic, Rainforest Alliance Certified tea sourced directly from their single garden in Bangladesh. Each 100% compostable tea bag contains about half of the caffeine than a cup of coffee and features notes of “fresh pie crust, lemon, and sake”.
A sweet, refreshing tea made with Chinese Pai Mu Tan white tea, apple pieces, pear pieces, marigold petals, and natural flavorings. It’s low caffeine and can be enjoyed both hot or iced.
Sips By Tea Bags
If your box contains loose leaf tea you’ll also receive a reusable muslin cloth tea bag, along with a handful of disposable bags. If you’re lazy like me and don’t like cleaning out traditional tea balls/strainers, these are an awesome alternative.
Yet another nice selection of customized tea samples from Sips By box! I’m especially looking forward to trying the Garnet Chai and White Pear teas. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save $5 on your first box with coupon code “2ROSEBUDS“!
