Sips By is a subscription box that sends you a personalized selection of teas on a monthly basis.
Each box will contain 4 premium teas — enough to make 15 cups — that are specifically chosen for YOU based on your Sips By profile. Upon signing up, you’ll be asked a series of questions to determine which types of tea you’d most enjoy. You can specify your preferences when it comes to the benefits you look for in a tea (stress relief, weight loss, sleep aid, taste, energy, etc), preferred flavors (unflavored, citrus, berry, mint, floral, earthy, sweet, etc.), and more. You’ll also be able to rate your teas on their site to help them curate more matches for you in the future.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $15/month with free shipping within the US. — For a limited time, you can save $5 on your first box with coupon code “2ROSEBUDS“!
Let’s see what’s in my May 2019 Sips By box!
Everything was shipped in a small box with the Sips By logo on top.
A peek inside!
A personalized info card listed all of the teas included in my May box, along with brief descriptions, steeping times, and coupon codes.
The info card describes this fruity tea as the “purrfect” copycat to fruit punch. It contains a blend of hibiscus, apple, papaya, currants, elderberries, black currants, raspberries, strawberries, sunflower, and cornflower. It’s caffeine-free and can be brewed either hot or cold.
This “high octane tea” contains the same amount of natural caffeine as a cup of coffee — 3 times the level as traditional tea. It consists of Young Hyson Chinese green tea, natural tea extract, natural passionfruit flavor, safflower petals, natural strawberry flavor, and natural açai flavor. A fruitier alternative to your usual morning coffee.
I’d say this next one is more of a winter tea, but as someone who doesn’t particularly like the warmer months, I’m okay with holding onto the vibes of cooler days. 😉 The low-caffeine blend features organic cinnamon, green tea, orange peel, cloves, chili pepper, and natural flavoring.
The last sampling was an organic, caffeine-free moringa tea with turmeric. Moringa is a superfood that’s naturally rich in vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Daily use can help to restore imbalances in your diet. Turmeric has natural anti-inflammatory properties and can help reduce pain of arthritis.
Sips By Tea Bags
If your box contains loose leaf tea you’ll also receive a reusable muslin cloth tea bag, along with a handful of disposable bags. If you’re lazy like me and don’t like cleaning out traditional tea balls/strainers, these are an awesome alternative.
My May Sips By box included a nice selection of both green and herbal teas. My personal favorites were the Tea Kitten Tart-Tea to the Par-Tea blend and Organic The Spice is Right Tea from Davison’s Organic Teas. — Remember, for a limited time you can save $5 on your first box with coupon code “2ROSEBUDS“!
