Let’s see what’s in the March 2017 Sleek Treat box!
The box!
A peek inside.
A 2-sided info card listed all of the items inside March’s box, along with photos and brief descriptions for each one.
Cracked Candy in Peppermint Ice
These xylitol-sweetened candies resemble little pieces of dry ice and have a great minty flavor. They’re made with vegan-friendly/non-GMO ingredients and thanks to the xylitol, they can even reduce the cavity causing bacteria that leads to tooth decay. Cool!
Caffe D’Vita Sugar Free Hot Cocoa & Cappuccino
March’s box included 3 samples of sugar-free mixes from Caffe D’Vita: Mocha Cappuccino, Hot Cocoa, and French Vanilla Cappuccino. Each one is sweetened with Splenda and contain no trans fat or hydrogenated oils. The cappuccinos can be enjoyed either hot or over ice.
XyloSweet
If you prefer your hot cocoa & cappuccino to be a little sweeter, Sleek Treat included 3 packets of XyloSweet. It’s an all natural sweetener made with 100% xylitol, which contains a third of the calories of common table sugar and also has a low glycemic index.
Detour Peanut Butter Cream Bar
This protein bar looks delicious and I really wish it was vegan-friendly. It has a peanut buttery core that’s topped with a creamy layer of peanut butter and coated in low-sugar milk chocolate. Each bar has an impressive 30 grams of protein and just 2 grams of sugar.
Project 7 Rainbow Ice Gourmet Gum
I’ve gotten this gum in a different subscription box quite a while ago, but never actually tried it myself. I like that it’s made in the USA and helps support anti-bullying programs, however the package does state that it includes genetically modified ingredients (as well as other questionable ones). The reviews on Amazon are mixed, but a lot of them do say that it tastes just like rainbow ice, so that’s cool. 😉
ChocZero Dark Chocolates
These all natural, low carb chocolates are sweetened with a monk fruit and fiber blend. Ingredients include fair trade premium dark chocolate, soluble corn fiber, monk fruit extract, and Madagascar bourbon vanilla beans. They’re non-GMO and vegan-friendly too!
Spry Gems Lemon Crème Mints
These naturally flavored lemon crème mints are sweetened with 100% xylitol. They’re also fortified with calcium to help remineralize tooth enamel while providing a sweet, yet tart flavor experience.
Another nice assortment of sugar-free goodies from Sleek Treat. My favorite items this month were the vegan-friendly dark chocolates, Cracked Candy, and Spry Gems. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 50% on your first box with coupon code ROSEBUD50!
