Let’s see what’s in the August 2016 SnackSack!
The box o’ snacks!
A peek inside.
The information card listed everything inside, along with helpful symbols next to each one indicating whether it’s vegan, gluten-free, and/or non-GMO.
Jackson’s Honest Sea Salt Potato Chips – Small batch potato chips cooked in nutrient-dense coconut oil with a touch of sea salt. They’re super crispy and made with non-GMO potatoes.
Jackson’s Honest Sea Salt & Vinegar Potato Chips – Ooh! I was excited to finally find a salt & vinegar chip that I can actually eat! (Most contain lactose or some other milk ingredient.) Yessss!!
Belgian Boys De Liege Wafel – An all natural, authentic Belgian waffle treat made with pearl sugar. It’s made from 100% fresh dough instead of the typically used liquid batter and is free of pesky GMOs.
Nature’s Joy California Pistachios – In-shell pistachios with a light sprinkling of sea salt. Each single-serve bag has just 100 calories.
This Bar Saves Lives Peanut Butter & Jelly Bar – For every one of these bars purchased, a packet of life-saving food is given to a child in need. This flavor is made with non-GMO ingredients including crunchy peanuts, sweet strawberries, and creamy peanut butter.
Raw Rev Glo Bar in Mixed Nuts Caramel & Sea Salt – These bars tend to pop up quite a lot in subscription boxes. Thankfully (for me anyway), they’re all vegan-friendly and delicious. I don’t think I’ve tried this flavor yet but it looks mighty tasty.
Love Grown Foods Chocolate Comet Crispies – I think this is the third flavor/variety of Love Grown Foods cereal that I’ve gotten to try this month thanks to subscription boxes. All of their cereals are actually made with a blend of garbanzo beans, navy beans, and lentils. They’re also wheat & corn free, made with natural colors & flavors, and vegan-friendly.
Lotus Biscoff Cookies – Woo! I love me some Biscoff cookies! These are referred to as Europe’s original coffee cookie and are well known for being served on flights. They’re (obviously) vegan friendly and made with all natural ingredients.
The GFB Gluten Free Bites in Coconut Cashew Crunch – These delectable bites are all-natural, non-GMO, certified gluten-free, vegan, and dairy-free. They’re packed with protein and make for a healthy, yet indulgent snack.
Dolcetto Petites Cookies & Cream Wafer Bites – Crispy chocolate wafer bites with a creamy vanilla filling. Each pouch contains just 100 calories.
Peanut Butter & Co. Dark Chocolate Dreams Spread – Creamy peanut butter blended with smooth dark chocolate. Yum! Surprisingly, this is actually vegan-friendly! 🙂
Sola Bar in Cinnamon Flavor – A healthy meal bar made with simple, whole non-GMO ingredients including peanuts, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, and flaxseed. It’s both vegan and gluten-free.
Another box of gnarly nibbles from SnackSack! My favorites this month were the Biscoff cookies, Jackson’s Honest chips, GFB Bites, and chocolate peanut butter. — Remember, if you’d like to try out SnackSack for yourself, you can save 10% on your first purchase with my exclusive coupon code “ROSE10″!
