Let’s see what’s in my August 2016 Society Socks shipment!
The socks were shipped in a plain white envelope via first class mail.
A handwritten note from the founders let me know that August’s theme was “Triangle Geometry”.
Pair #1 – The first pair I pulled out of the package did indeed feature a geometric triangle pattern. 🙂 It had a pretty neutral color scheme of black, blue, light gray, and dark gray — perfect for my husband who hasn’t quite jumped aboard the funky socks train just yet.
Pair #2 – The second pair also featured triangles, but in a much less orderly pattern. These particular triangles chose to scatter themselves haphazardly over the socks like the badass little shapes that they are. Despite the addition of a little yellow (bold!), my husband still said he’d wear these. Success!
Society Socks is a great subscription for men who want to up their sock game, while also helping those in need. The socks I received were of good quality and surprisingly thick. I was actually kinda bummed that my husband liked them because I was hoping to keep ’em for myself. 😉 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 50% on your first month with coupon code “GET50OFF“!
